XPEL Headlight Protection Reviews

Great product. Requires some skill to install, however.

X-Pel film is much thicker than other films I've used. It blends in nicely and dries clear. However, working with films of any kind that stick requires some skill and finess to get it right. I destroyed one of the films because I used too much water/alcohol mix and it wouldn't stick. X-pel is a quality product but I believe experience is key to the install.

However, I had to mount my light bar with self-provided screws and nuts as the mounting surface on my SUV is slightly curved/arched from one side to the other, so using the 3M double-sided tape will not work well. I had to also heat the plastic on the light bar just a bit to make the arch in order to conform with the curve below the tailgate. Electrical wiring wise, I cut the original connector and soldered the wires...
