Replacing aging bulbs

Reviewed By Matt S (DENVER, CO) Reviewed for a 2006 Toyota Sienna —10/31/2015 1:27 AM

It's easy to accommodate to slowly dimming bulbs. Then some unlit street wakes you up to the problem. My research suggested the HID bulbs are better, but they looked a lot harder to install. The zXe are working great, and my owners manual walked me through the steps. Nothing too hard.

Ramon San Francisco

First set burned out in less than 30 days one at a time. It was replaced under warranty and I just installed the pair today. I use them on my high beam headlights for my 2006 Toyota Sienna XLE I will wait to see how long these second set will last since I seldom use my high beams. Since this model use the high beams as daytime driving lights , I recommend you remove this feature by replacing the brown DLR relay with the same blue one as the other two located in the fuse / relay box

Good product but difficult installation

Reviewed By Tamas H (FOSTER CITY, CA) Reviewed for a 2004 Toyota Sienna —5/12/2016 12:36 PM

The film is very thick and it appears to protect the headlight well. This should last a good while and prevent damage / yellowing. However on large, curved headlights the installation is not easy. Due to the thickness of the material, it is almost impossible to put the film on without air bubbles. I found that instead of the included squeegee, it is much better to work using just your hands. Start in the middle, work your way outwards, and form the material to the curvature of the lens.
