Good Fit

Reviewed By VIC S (Alameda, CA) Reviewed for a 2007 Toyota Tacoma —12/1/2011 9:38 AM

These lights were easy to install but the instructions were limited and not helpful. The lights are bright and look better than the stock version. Only the break and night lights are LED, these lights use the existing bulbs fixtures for reverse and turn indicators. Overall it is a good upgrade.

Nice lights, but hardly a complete kit

Reviewed By David S (San Diego, CA) Reviewed for a 2007 Toyota Tacoma —9/29/2011 2:53 PM

These are really nice LED lights, and are super bright. I was worried at first that they wouldn't give off enough light, but I have tested them several evenings and been pleasantly surprised. I don't have a tonneau cover- I just mounted them under the bed rails in my Tacoma. So far, they are working ok. We'll see how they hold up to the weather, but as I am in San Diego that probably won't be an issue. While this kit is "universal," it really is just two long wires with pods of LEDs attached, a few screws, and a switch. I don't usually like to hook accessories directly into my electrical system, so I went out and got an accessory wiring kit from PepBoys to complete the installation. Nothing fancy- but it does have an in-line fuse and other wiring. Honestly, I don't know how you would be able to wire this system without more wire; the wires are simply not long enough if you want to run them down through the frame, through the engine compartment, and to the switch in your dash. So, be warned; it will take some more supplies to do a nice installation. Also, one of the LED pods on my system works only some of the time. I haven't been able to get a replacement from AA yet (seems my emails are being ignored). But, hopefully I'll have more luck with Anzo's customer service department. All in all, a good, inexpensive LED bed lighting system. Just don't expect t to be plug-and-play...
