extremely bright and installation was a breeze, seems to be weatherproofed well, well built, overall happy with the product

We have a Pilot Car Service and are on the road almost full times as Oversize Loads Escorts, averaging 5-10,000 miles per month. Alot of these miles we are positioned behind the loads, who run the shoulder & kick back alot of road gravel at us. Consequently we experience alot of pitting, replacing our windshields at least twice a year. Obviously our headlight lenses are battered as well. Out of curiosity I ordered a set of these protectors before the maintenance salt/sand/chemicals of winter took their toll, just to see if they would help at all. Unfortunately I recently spun-out on ice, hit the median cable & snow-pack and did $4300 front end damage to my Toyota Tundra - but the headlight lenses were not damaged! There was a clip that held the lenses that broke off inside, and so the unit had to be replaced, but the lenses themselves were not broken. Even the insurance adjuster was impressed. I ordered another set of X-pel because I don't want to be out there without them!
