I installed these bulbs on my vehicle and one of them did not work. I contacted customer service and they were great! I was able to send back the defective bulb to the manufacturer without any hassle and they are sending a replacement. Once I have both bulbs installed I am hoping they are better at night compared to factory bulbs.
Better than HID

Too early to give a long term review but my first reaction, I'm impressed with the initial brightness. Hopefully they last longer than HID. For a 2012 VW jetta GLI, a retrofit will be needed, no ballast needed. The igniter fits in the headlamp. I definitely would rate it good for now.
PIAA Extreme White Bulbs

This is the 2nd vehicle I have installed these bulbs in, the difference to the factory bulbs is night and day. I installed both Lo and Hi beam on one side and turned on the lights to compare, amazing difference, crisp white light. I have heard that these bulbs tend to burn out more quickly, and know a few people that have had failures, but I have had them in my other vehicle for 3 years without an issue. This car has DRL's so they are on all the time which may effect longevity.
