"Installed on a 2000 Excursion...and it fit like a charm. I cheated and used the existing Ford wiring, and simply swapped the plastic connector from the factory wiring to the Ford wiring. The whole install too less than 10 minutes."

"I purchased this mirror for my Grand Prix and was very impressed by the quality of the product and ease of installation. Install didn't take more than 15 minutes, though I'm sure the one with the temp sensor and compass would have taken longer. Popped off the old mirror, identified the 12V and GND pins, slid the pins out of the factory connector and inserted into the new connector for the Gentex mirror, and attached the new mirror to the windshield. Overall, great product. Hopefully this mirror (and the car) lasts me another 9 years."

"This was a replacement mirror for a factory mirror where the glass in the mirror had gone bad...easy to install...connected right up to the factory plug already in place.
Looks great...an almost exact duplicate of the factory mirror in appearance."

"The mirror arrived as promised. Was fairly easy to install. Only problem was original Pontiac connector did not fit until I removed tip of its locking clips. Mirror works great."

"As a replacement for the original equipment, this was easy to install. The most difficulty I had was determining the (+) and (-) leads from the car. Once I tested which lead was "hot" and "neutral", then it became a 1-2-3 installetion. The mirror itself looks very similar to original GM equipment. If I didn't know any better I would say it was.
The price for this unit was reasonable too. After looking around on the internet for the exact match of what I took out, I would have paid 2x the cost. For a car that is up in years and mileage, this was a deal!!!
I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend it to anybody looking for a replacement automatic mirror. And if you're handy with tools and know what you are doing with wires, then this is a good 30 minute project."

"INSTALLATION WAS EASY AND OVER ALL VALUE FOR THE PURCHASE WAS EXCELLENT.THE REPLACEMENT COST OF A FACTORY PART FOR MY 1998 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP WAS WELL OVER $200.00 DO THE MATH MADE NO SENSE TO ME TO GO THAT ROUTE.PLUS THE WARRANTY IS A PLUS WHEN MAKING A PURCHASE OF THIS TYPE."
