"The Gentex 21 Rear-view mirron works really well and looks great. The mirror cost $200.00 dollars and it cost me another #100.00 for professional installation. Don't allow a do-it-yourselfer to install this mirror! I think the results where well worth the price. It works just as well as factory installed equipment. This mirror went into an '08 Honda Ridgeline."

"The installation of this mirror was very simple, with the exception of where to obtain the power source. Since most cars are very different, the instructions did not provide the necessary information to locate the 12 volt key activated connection. Once this was located, the information was a snap! The product is excellent"

"I recently purchased a Toyota Tacoma. One feature on my previous vehicle I liked that was not on the Tacoma was an outside temp indicator. The Gentex K21 was a great solution for the Tacoma. It was relatively easy to install. The instructions were not very clear as to the replacement of the temp probe. A call to customer support connected me with a pleasant and helpful tech who quickly answered my questions. Since I was most interested in the temp function. The auto dimming was not the primary capability for me in purchasing this unit. I have found the auto dimming function to be a real plus. I always like having a compass and this option works well. The temp reading has proven to be accurate. I am very pleased with every aspect of the mirror. This is a great product."

"The product is exactly what I expected when I purchased it. My only criticism is I wish the compass/temp gauge readout was a bit larger. The install was easy but a that owes to the car and that I looked up a "how-to" article on a car forum. The instructions that come with the mirror are only so-so."

"Iwas very please w/ this product. Looks factory and was not difficult to install if you have aq little no-how. Figure about 1 to 1.5 hours faster if you've done something like list before. I would recommend this product again."

"The installed mirror looks like it came from the factory. Easy to install, easy to use. Took about an hour to install with wiring and about a half hour to figure out which power wire to tap."

"The installation was fairly easy after we found a 12V power source. In the Mustang the power source is located behind the kick panel on the passenger side. The mirror looks great and works perfectly."

"Love this mirror. It's $100 less that Toyota charges and for another $100 I had Toyota install it for me. I just used it on a 36 hour trip to Colorodo and back and it worked flawlessly. Buy it, you'll love it!"

"Install wasn't too terrible. Took 3 hours. Instructions were decent. The only portion of the instructions that left a lot to be desired was the location of the temp probe. It was not clear at all. Other than that, good instructions! The only other negative point was the fact that I was not given the right wire t-tap for tapping into the power supply line on the ignition harness. I had to go buy a 10awg t-tap. They only supply 14-22 gage t-taps."

"Excellent appearance on my 05 Tucson. Needed to add a new crysler button mount below the existing mount; using a 3" wire cover into the old mount looks good."

"I have ordered this mirror thru a friend of mine in the USA as I live in Dubai United Arab EMirates. I picked it up from him last week of January while attending a conference in Reno NV. It would have cost as much as US$ 150 to have it shipped overseas. A friend of mine has helped instaling the product yesterday and I can say that I am satisfied with the way it performs."

"This mirror is awesome! I installed it on a 2007 Scion xA. It helps me get figure my way around town with its built in compass. The temperature gauge is also helpful and gives me an instant readout. I can't imagine another day without it."

"I had used stand alone themometers in the past and they never worked that good. The one I had stopped working and my husband found this mirror for me. I love it. It is very accurate and a nice looking addition to my car. It took about 2 hours to get it installed but there were no problems doing it. It came with everything needed so the job was an easy one. I had the opportunity to use it at night and see just how well the dimming feature works and the car lights behind me didn't bother me at all. This mirror was an excellent choice for us."

"The installation took about 2.5 hours. The biggest problem was finding a suitable wire to connect the power to. Other than that, the instructions were very helpful. The mirror works as advertised."
