"Having had a compass and temperature indicator in a Jeep GC, I missed having that feature on my 2005 Trailblazer.
I bought a K21 auto-dimming rear view mirror with compass and temperature and just love it. Installation was easy and it works great!
I keep looking at it and saying "that is soooo cool!""

"Love this item, it was easy to install, took about 30 minutes. My wife loves it she had one in her old car, but did not get it in her new van. Only complaint is they don't provide the "optional" cover plate for the wires above the mirror. I thought for the cost it should have been included. Otherwise it is a great OEM unit, can't tell the difference between my factory unit in my car and this one."

"I asked for the mirrow for Xmas and was primarily interested in the compass and temp functions. But after a very easy installation, I find the auto dimming function incredibly handy. I love it and everyone says it looks like a factory installation on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma."

"I recently purchased a 2005 Ford Taurus SE which does not include Compass & Outside Temp function, or Auto Dimming Mirror. The Ford Taurus SEL had these features, but cost about $1,500 to $2000 more. I decided to purchase this product for about $170 (on sale for Christmas) to obtain these features. I received my Gentex K-20 Auto Dimming mirror w/compass & Temp by Mito from Auto Anything in just a couple days after I placed my order. I was pleasantly surprised. I looked it over and found everything in order. I decided to have it installed by a professional...as it looked a bit beyond my abilities. It took a professional about 1.5 to 2 hours to install. (Pro Care - cost about $130.) Once operational, I found the mirror to be outstanding. The auto dimming works perfectly, the compass seems exact, and the Temp gage, once place properly,(according to instructions) is very accurate. I am very impressed and pleased with this product. I would highly recommend this product and Auto Anything. Jim $.05"

"The overall rating once installed is definitely a five star. However finding a power source was a lot more time cosuming than I expected. Mostly because I di not scope it out until the mirror was received. The end result is a quality piece of equipment that not only looks great but is fully functional and appears to be factory installed"

"and so is this mirror...
I installed this in my '05 Dodge Durango and the display even matches the color of my dash. The installation instructions and tools that come with this are all you need to install this product except a 12v power line tester. I purchased this separatly for $3.99 at Autozone. Took me 2 hours and I am very pleased with the results...The compass and temp are dead on accurate! Just be sure to install the temp sensor in front of, and below if possible, the radiator. This is a high quality product ! Also, the auto-dimming feature is really good for those long, late night drives on the interstate."

"I purchased the K20 Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror with compass and temperature read out for my 2005 Ford Escape. A friend, who is an auto mechanic, installed it in about 3 hours. He said the next one would only half that long now that he has done his first one.
Looks good--like original equipment. Compass is on the money and its nice to hear the weather temperature from the radio match what the temperature reading on the mirror is."

"This is a great product. Ha ve a similar one that came standard on my car and missed it on our motorhome. The only complaint I have is that the wire cover that is used to cover the wires from the mirror to the headliner isn't included with the mirror and I had to purchase separately. You would think for a product that ranges in price from 90 to almost 300 dollars the manufacturer could throw in the little plastic piece as part of the kit."

"I was extremely happy with theK20.
It was everything I was hoping for.
My 1997 Chevrolet Suburban already had a MITO mirror with compass as original equipment, so it installed fairly easy and looks & operates really good.
Autoanything.com was great tp deal with."

"The instalation was easy and fast, removing the old mirror from my KIA was difficult at best,The quality of the mirror is good. The temperature seems to be a little higher than outside Air temp, so I moved the probe around to try and get a better and more accurate temp. It seems to be about 5-8 degrees higher than actual temperature."

K20 Auto-dimming rear view mirror with temp/compass

"Product is decent, but I think the temp readout numerical segments are on the small side and some of the digits are poorly implemented (e.g., "5"). I was totally aggravated that the mirror kit does not come with some sort of track or channel to cover the wires going from the morror into the car's headliner. This is very poor marketing and caused me to place a separate order for a $2.50 part from Mito corp....very annoying."

"The only trouble I had was finding a wire that was controlled by the ignition, that did not effect and other system. The best thing I found was calling the garage where I bought the vehicle. They suggested the radio circuit, You can get adapters that slide in alongside of the fuse, make sure the the adapter is not on the hot side, the power must go threw the fuse to protect the circuit. I hope this may help someone find the power they need to enjoy this product."

"After buying a truck with an OEM outdoor temperature display, I had to add one to my car. The temperature on the mirror is a great idea. Installation is simple and the mirror looks great. I installed a temperature-mirror in our third car also, but instead of getting a second one like this mirror I bought one that shows the temp underneath the mirror between the buttons. I like the under-mirror readout a little better than the in-mirror display as it doen't take away from your mirror real estate."
