"This mirror looks stock. It works perfectly and the compass and thermometer are quite accurate. The compass is self calibrating and it was calibrated after driving only 3 minutes. The display is very clear and bright. I believe they should have included a wire cover to mask the wires from the mirror to the headlin er (it is apparently optional from the manufacturer). I cut a small piece of the black wire loom that was over the temp sensor cable and used that and it looks great. Wiring is very simple. Just use a multimeter to find a switched wire and they give you the hardware to connect the wire. I used a wire behind the kick panel that was a switched circuit. Very easy to find with the multimeter and the plug from one of the OEM wiring harnesses. Plus, it's easy to find a ground spot behind the kick panel."

"The mirror, compass and temp indicator works as advertised and looks great, like it was installed at the factory. After examining the installation instructions I opted to find an installer, figured the auto stereo guys could do it. It took him a little over an hour, no problem."

"The mirror is perfect. I did struggle to find a proper spot for the Temp. probe, and did move it once already. Removal of the old mirror was very difficult, your instructions for a 2005 Ford Escape were not useful."

"I recently purchased an '05 Frontier and was totally surprised to find that it was missing the very important features of a Compass & Temp gauge. I immediately searched the internet and found this item. Needless to say, I have been very pleased with it."

"Upon purchasing a new, I discovered it had the direction and temp digital read out and it did not.
I was helping my son move and his brother-in-law had mentioned that I could get a mirror w/compass/temp/auto-dimming on the internet. I found this K20 mirror, ordered it and received it very promptly. I however had to have my son install it since I know very little about how to take moulding off and there the gromet is on the firewall. He installed it in 5 hours but it was well worth it-so I will take him golfing..a good deal for both. We enjoy the mirror and it works perfectly. I would certainly order this item or other products from autoanything.
Satisfied.....!!!"

K20 Auto-Dimming,Compass,Temp Mirror Install

"The mirror itself is a huge improvement over the stock mirror from my 2005 Ford Escape XLT. Had I researched these mirrors prior to buying the vehicle, I'm not sure I would have bothered with the miniconsole as I could have added the maplights and homelink options to the mirror.
Installation was mostly easy. Since the install was car-specific, I would have liked to have more specific information on which wire to tap into for "ignition only". Identifying a wire took as long as the rest of the procedure. Also, the placement of the thermometer sensor was confusing.
Overall, this is an excellent replacement/enhancement. I like that both the compass and temperature are always visible. On my 2002 Outlander, you had to decide which you wanted to be visible."

"Mirror is exactly what I hoped it would be. The unit looks completely stock. We wanted temp and compass in our Jeep liberty. The only problem is it wasnt available in the sport version. I wasnt about to pay $5000 for the next model up for the temp! It was something my wife really wanted(for potentially icy conditions).Easy installation, hardest part was finding the power source(not hard). with a 3 year warranty I am very pleased with this unit. I am pretty sure its the same thing I saw in a $38,000 Chevy...."
