Description

It's an all too common problem: you regularly have something hitched to your bumper, but you don't want to mutilate your rig with monster-size towing mirrors. Instead, you put up with strapping on flimsy extenders before each haul, and hope that they won't shake off halfway to the drop site. The solution to this roadway annoyance is CIPA's Extendable Replacement Side View Mirrors. They slide in and out a full 4.25" for a clear line of sight around any boat, trailer or 5th wheeler.

Besides being incredibly handy, your CIPA Extendable Replacement Side View Mirrors are custom made for a stock fit and finish. They even boasts fold-away and break-away features when you need to maneuver through narrow routes.

For unmatched visibility, the Extendable Mirrors use a huge 10" x 10" glass face. And, you also get a set of spot mirrors to clear any blinds. The no-drill installation is a breeze, and all hardware is included, along with a 1-year warranty.

Notes

  • CIPA did not engineer the Extendable Replacement Side View Mirror for vehicles with factory mirror options, such as turn signals, puddle lights and memory.

These mirrors are great, my towing is much easier now that I can actually see the cars to the left and right of me. The only problem I had was one of the mirror lenses was off the base (not AA's fault). I just stuck it on and it was good to go after that, I only hope it doesn't fall off when shutting the door. Other than that everything was great, thanx AutoAnything for the fast and easy purchase, I will definately shop here again.

Instalation was nice, the mirriors hang low, about 3 to 4 inches below window, makes it hard for a quick look at the blind spot. They worked well.

I purchased the mirrors for my 2002 GMC Sierra Truck. I found a value in the review that said not to remove the door panel. It wasn't necessary to do so. Total time on install was about 30 minutes. They work great for my 5th wheel. I wish I had done this 5 years ago when I first bought my 5th wheel. Great vision, no vibration. Absolutely love them.

These mirrors are very well made. The instructions were extremely accurate and easy to follow. Excellent upgrade to an older Chevy that is used for towing.

I was surprised as to how easy they were to install. They are just what I wanted since I pull a camper and the add on extenders that I had didnt give a good range of view.

Perfect fit. No objectionable vibration retracted or extended. Manual extension works smoothly. Provides greatly improved view for trailer towing. Installation took approximately one hour total for both sides....as long as you don't follow the instructions provided. Instructions call for the inner door panels to be removed in addition to the inside, triangular, plastic trim directly opposite the mount. Not nessary to remove the inner door panels as the fasteners (nuts) and the electrical connection are all accesible once the triangular plastic trim is removed. One of the two "free", stick-on, blind spot mirrors included was destroyed in shipment.

When they arrived, one was cracked, contacted customer service and they put one in the mail for me without difficulties (yeah, good customer service!) I have only put one on so far, it was not that difficult to install. I cannot make any comments yet about vibration.

I have been wondering what to do about the little mirrors on my ck3500 chevy since I got the truck. I pull a 24' gooseneck trailer with it most of the time it's on the road. I didn't want to have another set of mirrors like the west coast style screwed to the doors. The CIPA mirrors fit the bill. I like being able to adjust them from inside the truck and they do not shake going down the road. I would recommend them to anyone. I feel confident when hauling 15 round bales of hay now, being able to see down the sides of the trailer. Thx AutoAnything, J.R. in North Carolina
