2005 Nissan Frontier Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirrors

I drive half my 80 mile roundtrip commute at night so the auto-dimming mirror is one of the best purchases I've every made on any vehicle. It effectively blocks out glare from headlights while still keeping a clear field of vision. The outside air temperature sensor is not meant as a frost or ice warning, it's better than trying to time the temperature rotation on roadside billboards! The compass is really unnecessary as I almost always know which direction I'm driving!

Upon reading other reviews of this product, I thought long on whether to purchase a generic auto part. Yet, surprisingly the installation was easy and there was no need of additional wiring. I was very careful to retain the original wiring and glass mount, so basically, I just fasten the mirror and cover stem in 2 to 3 quick steps. What luck!!!! This is the perfect replacement part I was looking for my Ford Escape.

Great product. My car originally had a review mirror like this & I replaced it with just a regular one when it broke with the windshield. I've regretted that ever since. I did get lost yesterday in a section of town I'm not familiar with. The compass helped me find my way without stopping to look at a map or fiddle with my phone looking up GPS. Love it!!
