Outstanding! Nice and big. I like them much better than the factory tow mirrors on my Dodge which were broken last winter. Great visibility and they extend far enough down to monitor my trailer tires while driving, something the stock mirrors never did. They do not fold back against the body as tight as the stockers however. The forward break away is fine, going all the way forward but don't pivot into the door very far at all. Still the best tow mirrors I've ever used!

I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado. I wanted towing mirrors, but the factory ones are big, ugly, and expensive, (like $600) so I decided to try these. They fit perfectly, and give me the added vision I needed to tow my 23 foot boat. The little rubber strips they give you are pretty wimpy, and I'm going to have to find something to replace one. The came acting like the adhesive had been too hot and it stuck to the protective strips when you peeled them off. Therefore they didn't stick too well and one came off after first use. I have not contacted CIPA for replacements yet. The mirrors seem to fit without damaging the painted surfaces and don't effect the operation of the factory mirrors.

Just tried the mirrors out for the first time over Thanksgiving weekend towing our RV with my Silverado half ton with standard mirrors. They were a little tricky to get adjusted just right, but once they were where I needed them, they helped a ton for seeing traffic behind me and for lane changes. They do vibrate a little at highway speeds, but not enough to be unuseable. After ordering from AutoAnything, I found the mirrors for cheaper at Camping World. AA promptly refunded me the difference plus a little. As ususal AA rocks the house in terms of customer service.

The ONLY problem with the mirror is the factory supplied set screw and hex wrench. They strip out if you tighten them enough to keep the mirror from shaking excessively when extended. I solved the problem by getting two 1/2" Stainless set screws from the Home Depot. The longer set screw has a much deeper socket and therefore does not strip, allowing sufficient tightening.
