Wonderful product. Pros: -Incredible false alarm suppression performance. Auto-learn and simple manual lockout -Incredible radar detection performance. It picked up a patrol in an urban area almost a mile down the road and over a hill. After auto-learn locks out the false alarms, you can be assured that there is a reason to slow down when this thing beeps. -Ease of use. Cons: -Cost. But really, for what it does, it is good value for money. -Size. A tad on the bulky side, but only modestly more bulky than the cheap stuff. -Windshield mount. For a modern device costing $500 or more, the windshield mount is a bit flaky. The mount is the same as every Escort mount since basically the dawn of time. You would think that the mounting technology would have advanced more in 20-30 years. The detector comes in a fancy faux leather-bound box. I would rather they spend the money on a better mount, put more mount options in the box, or a better cord. Would I buy this again? Yes.
