NK Rock Tamers Mud Flap System Part #00108 Customer Reviews

These rock timers are totally awesome. I drove from Redding to Eureka and there was a lot of road construction going on, 3 1/2 hours to and back. Not a mark on my bike or trailer. I take these babies of when I'm not trailering to keep them nice and new. I have had a ton of complements and people asking me where I bought them. I am totally in love. Thank s AutoAnything

Essy to put together and set up. My main issues are I need to do something with my exhaust as it exits almost straight out the back and it within 5" of the mudflap. My other concern is on one of my hitches it has a gusset which will not allow the Rock Tamers to sit where needed and also be able to get the pin into secure the hitch. I bought these for protecting my new Travel Trailer and need to see if it will fit on the hitch for reasons above. Not sure I can easily modify it if need be.

MUD FLAPS ARE MANDATORY WHEN TRANSPORTING RV'S. THESE ARE GREAT BECAUSE THEY CAN BE EASILY TRANSFERED TO DIFFERENT HITCHES. AND THEY LOOK GREAT ALSO.

After years of having the front of my 5th wheel RV being blasted by mud and rocks, I bought the NK Rock Tamer Mud Flap System to protect my new 5th wheel. I'm not very mechanically oriented, but with a little time, I was able to put it all together, and mount it on my truck. These things work great. My new RV has no mud or rock marks anywhere. My only regret is that I should have done this sooner.

Everything goes together pretty easily except for when it comes time to slide the flaps into the bracket. The fit is exceptionally tight and I finally used some lubricant and a dowel to spread the bracket. Once installed, it then has to come back to cut it to size once you put the intended trailer on the hitch to measure for the correct length. Overall, once you put it back together in final assembly, it is very nice. All components are heavy duty and the unit seems like it will be durable.

Rock tamers are easy to install and work great! Recommend using a drill vs the supplied hole punch to make the mounting holes in the flaps.
