Husky Liners Mud Guards Reviews

Perfect fit and easy install!

Reviewed By John L (Trent Woods, NC) Reviewed for a 2007 GMC Yukon XL —2/11/2011 9:59 PM

I put these on my '07 Yukon XL that has the standard black non-powered running boards. I like the Husky's look and I'll spend less time cleaning tar off my truck this summer. These are designed and made well. The molded reliefs fit perfectly on and around the Yukon's lower body parts. It's really pretty impressive. I put them on in about an hour. I drilled one hole for each, through plastic. I didn't remove the rear wheels, because I could bend the wheel well liner enough to get the angle. The truck's existing holes lined up fine. I rigged a right angle screw driver with a #2 bit and a small vise grip. Get one before you start. I'm glad I didn't have to take the wheels off. I looked at the no-drill WeatherTechs, but wasn't sold on the lock ring thing and decided to keep it simple. I don't mind drilling a hole. I'll buy a set of these for my next vehicle.

The Weather-Tech No Drill Mud Flaps were just as advertised, fit great and were easy to install. They look like an OEM product on the vehicle.

NK Rock Tamers Mud Flap System Reviews

Well built quality item

Reviewed By Michael W (SIOUX FALLS, SD) Reviewed for a 2015 GMC Sierra —7/13/2014 6:21 PM

Everything goes together pretty easily except for when it comes time to slide the flaps into the bracket. The fit is exceptionally tight and I finally used some lubricant and a dowel to spread the bracket. Once installed, it then has to come back to cut it to size once you put the intended trailer on the hitch to measure for the correct length. Overall, once you put it back together in final assembly, it is very nice. All components are heavy duty and the unit seems like it will be durable.
