I have to confess I did not install these myself I brought them to a reputable garage for them to put them on. It took them all of 15 minutes. The mechanics commented on how impressed they were with the quality of the nerf bars and especially the quality of the hardware. They commented on the high-quality bolts and brackets that came with these nerf bars and we're very surprised that I got these for the price I did off of this site.
