This is a great addition to our new truck .... BUT it's not easy to install. The special expanding fasteners required purchase of a special drill bit and use of an angle drill. Not for someone without some fabrication experience.

I would've given this a 5 except for 2 things. The instructions are hard to follow. I found it best to loosely assemble the entire step then figure how to install. Second, the step is held on by 3 screws and could be beefier. Im going to use construction adhesive.
