"Horrible instructions on how to mount them on a Dodge Ram. After reading instructions for three hours and pitching them we finally figured out how to get them mounted. Just a small hint about having to take the duct tape off of the mounting holes on the inside body panels would have saved a Hell of a lot of time getting them on. Now that they are there they look great but they pick up a lot of mud on my dirt road. Guess I need mud flaps now to keep some of that off. The wife does approve of them, easier for her to get in the truck."

"These bars are the best value around!!! Great looking, easy install and should last a long time. I oiled the inside tubes for protection from our north country winter salt and chloride they use on the roads. Full SS parts and fittings is a real plus."

"This is my second product fro Autoanything, and again, they amaze me at quick shipping times and quality of product. The price is unbelievable, especially with free shippping. I received this two days after my order. Installation was only 3 bolts per side, and took less than 2 hours total. The look is great and they were packaged and wrapped so that they could not get damaged or scratched in any way. Autoanything updated me on the shipping status by e-mail, and confirmed my delivery to make sure I was happy. These nerf bars, along with the Truxedo Sport bed cover, are two great products at a great price. Thanks Autoanything!"

"Everything fit perfectly. If I had prepared ahead of time I think I could have had it done in 30 minutes. The dealer wanted $495 for a chrome tube with $175 for installation. I paid $404 for better quality. I love them on my black onyx truck. My wife loves them as she can now get in and out 10 times better than before. A great product worth more than five stars. I'm 67 years old and I tinker a lot, if I can install these anyone can. Richard"

"For those of you out there who have somewhat little to no mechanical knowledge out there may want to take note. When I first installed the brackets that came with the assembly, I had them installed on the wrong sides of the rocker panel making it impossible to line up the bars correctly. Maybe the manufacturer can help out those less inclined with a stamp indicating with side the bracket goes on."

"The Nasta Nerf Bars( black cote) look real good. I did have a problem with the directions for my 2007 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab. I needed to use different holes than the directions said to use. Getting the bolt in on the passenger side was very hard until I taped a piece of wood to the end to extend it and then it was ok. The Nerf bars function very well for my family who have a hard time to climb in my truck."

"Bought the powder coated black for a 2007 Silverado Extended cab Classic. Bars came out of the box dented and already rusting. No matter how many times they say all stainless steel bars and hardware in the write up the black bars are a cheap thin carbon steel and so is all of the hardware. The powder coating looks great at a distance but up close its not really powder coat its seems to be just a thick layer of globed on paint, its definitely softer and chips off easier than powder coat should. After touching up the bars the installation went well. Everything fit well enough so long as you remember to leave everything loose until all the bolts are started. On the front drivers side of the Silverado the tails of two grounding screws had to be cut and a 1/4 of an inch had to be ground off of the supplied bracket. The bars came with 12MM bolts to replace the chassis mounting bolts however the chassis bolts are 14MM. Just as well the replacement bolts were a very cheap non rated carbon steel, I wouldn't want them holding my truck together. Mount them and stand back a distance and they look great just like a better quality bar. All in all I got what I paid for, significantly less money than any of the better US brands. If they do rot out in a year or two like I expect them to I will spend more next time and get a quality product."

"We were kinda worried about what to expect, free shipping and a great price compared to everyone else but after reading other reviews we shot for the moon and boy was it worth it. My husband had the bars installed by himself just under an hour, they are very sturdy and heavy, look awesome, and make it so much easier to get into the truck. They fit our 2004 Chevy Crew Cab to a T and we couldn't have asked for a better product or price."

"The stainless nerf bars arrived ahead of schedule and in good shape. Installation was easy, except the instructions left a bit to be desired. Everything fit just right and took about an hour. They look great and I like the fact that all the brackets and hardware are stainless. No chance for any rusting."

"Look great, solid feeling, trouble free bolt on (Wow ! How'd that happen ?) Forget reading the directions,look at the pictures, a lot easier. Very fast delivery,box showed it.Believed air dropped at door by Fed-X,no one home when delivered. UPS would be better."
