Tacom nerf bars

"Overall product looks great with minor complaints and installation tips for future customer: (1) Do not use the (8 mm 1.25 x 25 mm) hex drive cap screws provided. They are too soft and easily get stripped. Two of mine did. Go to hardware store and buy regular hex head SS bolts. (2) The welds on the brackets looked suspicious - they don't look like full-penetrating welds. (3) Watch out for the machined edges on the brackets - they are sharp!"

"Every shop I called wanted almost $400 for chrome plated nerf bars and almost $600 for stainless. These bars are by far the way to go. All the hardware is stianless steel and takes about 45 min. to install. My dad and I put them on his 03 Silverado and they look great."

"The instructions are really horrible. I finally gave up, looked at the parts and figured out how to install. All of that aside, buy the bars. They are very well made and they look great. They project from the side just the right amount."

Nasta Stainless Steel Side Tubes

"Steps were easy to install, took about an hour and a half in my garage. Didn't have to jack up the truck. They look great on my 2005 Z-71 Silverado Extended Cab. Loved the fact that all the nuts, bolts, washer and mounting brackets were stainless steel. Should last a lifetime. Just make sure you have large metric sockets as all the new hardware is metric. Also make sure you have large metric hex wrenches."

"Excellent product, looks great on the truck, takes less than an hour to install, works as designed, also quick free delivery. A few things to keep in mind. Do not tight down any bolts till every piece is presented and follow the instructions to a T. Last thing it changes the ride of the truck, it makes it very bumpy going over bumps on the road. The truck with out them was very smooth ride. I think the issue is that the brackets are mounted in the bolts that hold the cabin, so the bars transfer the vibration to the whole truck. I guess it gives you more of a truck ride...."

"love the look of these nasta nerf bars. pretty much bolt on and go. except for the from right body bolt(pass side) on my new body style '07 Silverado i had to grind the front bracket otherwise ti rubs the factory mount and you hear it creeekin. just mark out the circle and grind off the edges of the bracket not the body mount and you will be thrilled. great product and the price was a 100. bucks less than my local truck parts place."
