"THE NERF BARS ARE WELL BUILT AND LOOK SHARP. THE PICTURES ON THE DIRECTIONS LEFT A LITTLE TO BE DESIRED, BUT ONCE I FIGURED IT OUT THEY WENT IN FAIRLY QUICKLY."

"Great product. Shipped in a week, no damage, and fit up perfectly with ease. Very sturdy brackets with stainless everything. Nasta bars and AutoAnything are the way to go. Note: Before you buy, Google for AutoAnything coupons."

"I received the nerf bars in a very timely manner. The package was damaged slightly and one of the bars had sustained a small dent. The installation was very easy with the exception of the small support bars being a little off on the mounting angle. Once installed they look great are are very sturdy. Great product for the money."

Black Nasta Nerf Bars on 2006 F-150 STX 4x4

"I just got my Ford F-150 STX 4x4 Flareside STD cab (my 1st truck) and ordered the black SS nerf bars. They really look great on the truck & were relatively easy to install. The instructions do need to be better since the washers supplied are never referred to. Pictures included aren't really clear where to use washers. And the front bracket on the driver side had to be modified to allow the emergency brake cable to pass through. Had to notch out about 3/8" off the support arm."

"Order was delivered quickly. While the instructions were a little vague, laying the bars on the floor under the truck showed just where to bolt up. Took about minutes to complete. They look good and my wife finds it easier to get into the truck. The price was pretty good. Don "

"I read from online reveiws that instructions were vague, which they were, but do it yourselfers usually see this as another challenge in figuring out what to do in their everyday life. Getting in and out has just been made easier and the truck nicer."

Colorado install

"They look good and seem to be well made. However the wrong ones were shipped to me initially. Invoice was correct but the box was wrong. Finally got them on and front mounting bracket hits the chassis and creates noise and vibration during a slight turn. I have go and buy longer cab bolts because i have to modify the mounting on the front cab mounts. Simple bolt on application is not entirely true."

Tacom nerf bars

"Overall product looks great with minor complaints and installation tips for future customer: (1) Do not use the (8 mm 1.25 x 25 mm) hex drive cap screws provided. They are too soft and easily get stripped. Two of mine did. Go to hardware store and buy regular hex head SS bolts. (2) The welds on the brackets looked suspicious - they don't look like full-penetrating welds. (3) Watch out for the machined edges on the brackets - they are sharp!"

"Every shop I called wanted almost $400 for chrome plated nerf bars and almost $600 for stainless. These bars are by far the way to go. All the hardware is stianless steel and takes about 45 min. to install. My dad and I put them on his 03 Silverado and they look great."

"The instructions are really horrible. I finally gave up, looked at the parts and figured out how to install. All of that aside, buy the bars. They are very well made and they look great. They project from the side just the right amount."
