"Good product for 40% less than factory. Brackets are shipped separate from running boards, but no separate tracking number is provided, but requested it and got it. The boards look great and do the job."

"Received the running boards in just a few days. Was disappointed when I opened the box, 2 running boards, package of bolts & nuts, no brackets or instructions. E-mailed autoanything, received a response right away. I was told that brackets and instructions would be sent separately which they did arrive in a couple of days. What might have been a miscommunication or not stated to begin with turned out positive (tho I wasn't very patient or humored at first). Installation was easy,I am satisfied with looks, price and quality. Thanks Autoanything Johnnie, Montana"

"Installation took several hours. Installation instructions provided were average. Had to try various bracket placements to get the correct alignment. Trial and error had to be used to determine which of the two forward brackets went closest to the front of the vehicle as they were slightly different in length, a detail not even mentioned in the instructions. Once installed, though, they look great and are very sturdy. Mark"

"The style, construction, and value of the BAK Running Boards are excellent. However, the instructions provided with the running boards and the mounting kits are very poor. Luckly, it can be figured out by the average wrench turner. But the boards.. Super."

"The bottom line is that my purchase and installation would have been excellent in all categories had "communication" existed by a simple document in the package/s. The lack of information as to a "second" shipping source sends the braces-and-absence of "directions" for the simple installation put me "off-track" in the beginning....and your followup system is nearly as cumbersome as dealing with the local tax office. Once the "braces" arrived, I found installation instructions on the internet, and it was so simple even a "cave-man" could do it. The board's aluminum base is too short to "fit" all three braces on the Toyata Tacoma....thus I have some "modification" to do. (Holes with metal screw is not a good option since the metal is too thin to handle much weight.)"

"I have worked on mechanical things all of 70 years. This was a challenge. I had to reform brackets to fit, Take 2 short brackets and bolt together. I expected I was to get light kit. Edges of brackets are like razor. As I have a 1 1/2 inche cut to prove that. Price on Amozon was much cheaper, but didnot trust their discription. Now that they are on they look great and serve the purpose. Richard "

"Only concerns. Many of the bolts, threads were so bad nuts wouldn't tighten(one actually snapped in two). Secondly, if bag of bolts and nuts for board mounting is taped to running boards, list them in packing list. Once installed though, they look great."

"INSTALLED ON 2008 HONDA PILOT. i HAD NO PROBLEMS INSTALLING ON THE PILOT, AS HOLES WERE PRE DRILLED. VERY ITTLE DRILLING. DID NOT USE THE BUTTERFLY ANCHORS SUPPLIED, AS THEY DID NOT OPEN ON THE DRILLED HOLES. THESE ANCHORS WERE A TOTAL WASE OF TIME. IT WOULD HELP ID THE KIT IOTHER THAN THE RNCLUDED ONE MORE BRACKET FOR STABILITY. OTHER THAN THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS, I WAS TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH THE SHIPPING, CUSTOMER SERVICE,AND PRODUCT. "Received my boards and hardware together in great time. Problem was,as I've read from other reveiwers, some hardware was missing and two of the eight brackets were the wrong ones.I now have one board installed and am awaiting new hardware kit from BAK.AutoAnything rep was terrific in resolving problem - wasn't their mistake. This was my second purchase and will be back again. Love free shipping!"
