"Bars were a little lighter than I tought they woud be. The parts were labled wrong. Mid amd rear drivers side brackets were really passenger side brackets and visa versa. All and all, they look great."

Nice looking

"The bars really looked good on my truck after I installed them. The directions are very poorly written and one bar came forward further to the front than the other bar. It still looked good but it was touching the plastic to the mud flap. If you choose these, don't read the instructions, just look at the pictures, follow common sense and make it happen."

"These are awesome Nerf bars. the directions that came with them though were quite poor. but come on they are Nerf bars it was not hard to install about 30 min and I would recommend a second set of hands to hold them up while fastening. we'll have to wait and see how the snow and sand hold up on these though for the price in a few years get some new ones or paint them...."

"I am pleased with my new purchase. I had read the reviews on AutoAnything before I bought the Nerf Bars and as the other reviews read - the instructions need much work. We installed the bars and had to reverse the instructions to make them work. It was missing a few of the nuts and bolts but we made what we had work. They look wonderful!"

"They fit my Jeep to a tee and very easy to install. They look sharp, but I think the foot placement is a hair off. They are workable and used more on the passenger side for the little lady."

"When I received these bars with the installation instructions, I didn't think they would fit and was about to return them or find a way to modify the brackets. Then I discovered the instructions did not match my 2003 F150 4x4 pickup. After figuring out the installation myself, they fit perfectly in about 30 minutes."

2009 Honda Ridgeline

"Installation was complicated by (1) No instructions in the box, and (2) installing the mounting brackets as labeled the bars did not fit. After some thought, I used the fronts as labeled and switched the middle and rear to the side opposite from the label. This worked although the passenger rear took a little force. But when done they look good and work well, so overall I am satisfied."

good bars for the price

"I just put the powder coated black bars on my 09 tacoma. They definitely make the truck look better. The install was very easy. Only thing was that both front brackets did not line up at first so I switched them. They were probably just mislabeled. Not a big deal, just took a little more time. So dont panic if you get them and the same thing happens. As far as function, I dont really use them to step into the truck since they sit right under the sill anyway. However, the bars look great and are definitely solid so I have no worry standing on them while I wash my roof. Good nerf bars for the price."

"Start with just the picture, pay no attention to lables. Start with the drivers side, just like in the picture. As you attach brackets, leave them somewhat loose as so you can adjust to make everything line up the way it should. Excellent product!!!!!!"

"I had a little trouble installing. One of the specialty bolt plates wouldn't fit. I called Auto Anything, and they had me talk with the manufacturer. Very good customer service."

"I received the Nerf Bars 2 days(!) after ordering. I did the entire install by myself in about an hour and they look great. The Ridgeline has attachment points for 4 support bars and the Nerf Bars only use 3, so you will encounter an extra set of holes on the undercarriage of Ridgeline so don't be surprised. Great transacation, quality product, would recommend."

"I had a little trouble with the emergency cable and the rear drivers side bracket, had to drill a hole in the bracket on the vehicle. I thought they were easy to install and loook and perform great on my vehicle"

"I really liked the fact that I was able to install the nerf bars very easy. They went on like the manufacture said they would. What I dont like is that they must have been for another type of jeep because the plastic treads you would step on to get in the jeep are set to forward to be used as a step."
