"Easy installation, great price and fast shipping, a little more oval shape than round but look great! Very sturdy, mounted with 3/8 and 1/2 inch bolts. These nerf bars really help for an easily accessible full step into the vehicle."

"I did alot of research an decided on the steelcraft. I am glad i did. I received them in just a few days. They were very easy to install. I would say it took about 45 minutes. My truck looks great, and it makes it so easy to get in and out. Dan in layton Utah"

Bold & Sturdy

"As always the instructions were not the best. My biggest challenge was taking out the body mount bolts until I went and got a size 18 mm socket which most sets did not include this size. I really like the bold and sturdy appearance the bars have. Only time will tell how well they hold up."

oval nerf bar installation

"The package containing the nerf bars arrived one week from the order time. I unpacked everything and laid the parts out on the garage floor and picked the passenger side to start. Holding the front bracket up to the body I discovered that the holes did not line up. At this point I picked up the drivers side front bracket and found that the bracket lined up with the body holes,so I concluded that the two brackets were miss marked. The rest of the installation took about one and a quarter hours and every thing fit real well and they look like they were installed at the factory at a good savings."

Looks Great

"Installation was easy with assist holding up to brackets. Comments on looks range from "nice" to "are those factory?" Powdercoat looks good but bars have not been on long enough to rate durability. Over all I am very pleased with purchase."

"The new nerf bars look great. The were easy to install once I decided to do what the instructions told me to do. They are strong and very functional. The only problem was they did not send the right hardware. I had to make a trip to Lowes for a few bolts but this would not keep me from ordering them they are worth the trip."

"Very attractive, well thought out design. Installation instructions leave something to be desired. Picture are very fuzzy.....instructions vague for a neophyte mechanic. I finally figured how to install the first one after about an hour.....the other side was about 20 minutes."
