My boards arrived and the box was torn open on one side, but luckily, the boards inside appeared undamaged. The order was delayed initially but then the boards arrived before the scheduled ship date! Unfortunately, the brackets were delayed by many weeks so I was forced to cancel that portion and order them elsewhere to get them in a few days. Overall, happy with the purchase and buying experience.

Very happy with the quality,fit,cost & looks of these running boards. This being my first shopping experience with A/A was impressive.Ordered late Sunday night and was quite surprised to see FED-X show up on Wednesday morning. Installation was fairly easy but I would recommend downloading better instructions at http://www.deezee.com/product_images/DZ16335.pdf I will be a re-peat customer! Thanks.

I was alittle skeptical about how they would look on my wife's 2011 sorento, but after installation it makes the truck look like its on steroids. I love these boards and when I trade in my car these will go on my new SUV..

Installation was a breeze with the proper tools, that said, on each running board the chrome trim piece was riveted on in 7 places. The rivets were popped in 5 places on each board, and there were a few bubbles in the clear coat on the chrome. Shipping was from two locations and appx 5 days apart for the 2 boxes.

The brackets do the job well, and installing the running boards on the brackets was easy as pie...however, the installation of the brackets on the vehicle is a little difficult, for two reasons: The instructions could be clearer, and the threaded tabs that the bolts go in are hard to hold while tightening the bolt.

Do these fit the new 2011 mkx body style? If so do they lower the clearance of the vechile? Can they be removed if you no longer need them? Also how far do they stick out from the car? I am looking to buy these more so for my two little boys than for me. They have some trouble getting in and out of the car.

I work at a Ford dealer and there is not any running boards available for an 11 or 12 Explorer. I don't think you can mount ANY boards to this model. I'd like to see pictures or instructions on how they get mounted. The picture you have on your site shows these on an Edge not an Explorer.
