The step was easy to install and works as advertised. I showed it to a couple of friends and they ordered the step as well. Great product!

I could not find the F250 in the pkg I wanted with step in the tailgate like my 2013 had, so after a lot of study and review reading, I bought the Trekstep, the instructions are incomplete but I used the ones fm amp R. much better, and once you realize that the oem bumper bolts are welded to a piece of bar stock and it keeps pushing back you need to keep it tight to the frame to get the nuts on, used 3 shims, works great, "Luv It"

I had our local Ford dealer install this retractable step on my new 2015 F150, on the left side. It works very well. In fact, probably better than the optional center-tailgate integrated step available on the F150. Why: because while Ford's built-in step is sensational if you have the tailgate down and are not hauling a trailer, the Bestop TrekStep is a functional step whether the tailgate is up or down, and since it's mounted off to one side, any trailer arm won't get in its way.

Easy to install , I spent 45 minute putting it on , would have been faster but it was raining. It would have been nice if it had came with 4 shims instead of 3 on my ford.
