"Very nice bars. They seem to be pretty sturdy. Time will tell. Only have two minor complaints. First, the installation instructions say to use the provided bolts for the main brackets. However, the bolts in the kit are too small. I just used the original bolts and it seems to work fine. Next, I was disappointed that these bars only had two point attachment to the frame. This is an extended cab and I thought a three point attachment would have been more durable. All in all, a great product for the money."

"The bars have a great finish, and are easy to install. My only suggestion for improvement - use 4 brackets per side instead of 3. They seem sturdy enough with 3 but the truck is predrilled for 4. AutoAnything was exceptional - easy to use website and SUPERFAST shipping. I got the bars well before I was expecting them. Thanks for the great service."

"Installation was not as easy as i thoughti was going to be, once i got it on a lift it was alot easier. They seem to creek alot while driving something to get used to. They look great and my kids love them they can climb in easy."

"Good: Great price, fast shipping, website accurately depicted product on vehicle. Bad: Aries instructions blow...bigger more accurate pictures needed...once I figured it out they went on easy. Overall I'm super happy"

"I looked at several different running boards and decided which ones would look best on my truck. Then i proceeded to search local dealers and the web. The Aries Nerf Bars were the ones, especially since they were $100 cheaper than all competitors."

"Overall I would rate these bars highly, but there were some issues, all of which were resolved. First one of the bars arrived with a couple of small dents, I didn't worry about them because they were on the bottom of the bar out of sight. The biggest problem was the instructions, they were useless, but a call from Aries fixed the issue by sending me a picture of where the mounting braces were supposed to go, instead of how they were stamped. Once that was resolved the bars installed in about 30 min."

"The bars themselves seem very well made and are attractive. I would prefer metal end caps. The brackets and bars installed easily when I finally figured out how they were supposed to be mounted - the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Overall - good looking, sturdy and well constructed."

"Received the product earlier than expected date however, the box was slightly opened due to one plastic bonding strap broken and the box had an hole on it size of a forklift fork, good thing no damage found. Installation procedure is easy as per picture copy and it will take 30 to 45 minutes if no discrepancies found during processes, unfortunately it took me 3.5 hr-4.0 hours. Discrepancies: 1. Lockwashers are too small for the montingbolts thread diameter which they don't fit so I didn't bother to install it. Mounting brackets are perfectly line-up on my pre-drilled 07' Tacoma with the Oval Nerfs Bars Pre-installed however, the brackets concave(oval shape)design were not perfectly seated against the nerf bars. On passenger side I spent a lot of patient/time to adjust it by rotating it outward to level the step bars co'z it tilting inboard by Approximately 3-5 degrees which unnoticeable if you're not a handy man. The Driver side mounting brackets are little bit off. The Mounting Brackets design for this Oval Nerf Bars needs improvement co'z I don't recommend the installation for none handy man to do it alone due to it might strip the bolts or damage the parts while adjusting it outboard to level it. Overall I'm satisfied for the purchase of the product with reasonable price, quality and design that fit to my need.(07 Toyota Tacoma."

"nerf bars look great, function great, and were in expensive, but they should come with instructions. For anyone else that buys them....install the brackets first, then the running boards."

"MY THOUGHT ABOUT THE NERF BARS ARE THE DIRECTIONS COULD BE BETTER AND THAT THE BARS COULD BE A LITTLE HEAVIER GAUGE METAL BUT AS FARS AS LOOK THE LOOK NICE EVEN THOUGH 2 OF THE 12 BOLTS THREADED WRONG AND STRIPPED THE INSERTS WHERE THE BOLTS GO NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE"

"The only bad feature I found while unpacking one of the Plastic enda of the oval bars came off, was taped with cheap edging tape to fill in so it would fit (the kind painters use) and still fell off while unpacking. I removed the tape and sealed it with Silicone adheasive. Alfred"

"I'm very satisfied with the purchase of the aries nurf bars for my 08 titan. Installation was easy and quick and they look great on the truck. "The Aries Oval Nerf Bars look great, and were priced excellent. Installation would have been much easier had they included the proper mounting bolts, washers, and lock washers. The replacement bolts were too small and couldn't be used. One of the nerf bars center mount holes were not located properly forcing me to drill a new hole to attach the bracket to the bar. Other than that, installation was a snap, the bars look great, and the quality of construction is very good considering their low price. I don't regret this purchase! Did I mention that Autoanything was an absolute joy to deal with. Most companies don't even want to talk to you when they find out your in Alaska, but Autoanything was great..."

"Directions are way out of date. 2008 Chevy uses existing body bolts, not the ones supplied. Washers to mount bar to bracket are too small for bolt. Stabilizing brace cannot be used without drilling or welding. The bars will mount once you know these limitations."

"The bars arrived in excellent time and with installation brackets as promised! (bought somewhere else-wanted more money for brackets) The instructions could have been a little clearer and no paper showing life time warranty, I would have liked the warranty in writing! But I am pleased with the bars so far. My 2008 Ford F-150 looks nice with these Black powder coated aluminun bars!"
