"I took the bars out of the box and was very satisfied with the quality and looks of them. Although while installing the passenger side bar I noticed a small dent in it. I can repair it, and I am still very happy with the apperance of my frontier with them on. Good product and will reccomend highly. Thanks, Gentry"

ALMOST Flawless!

"the bars were a perfect add on for my 06 colorado crew cab. the only problem i had was with the mounting hardware. the "u" bolts that came for the vehicle werent actually u shaped and i had some difficulty getting those in. there were 2 small holes above a larger hole covered by a black cap. the cap pops off and you have to put the bolt through the hole and feed the threads through the small hole. the big hole is barely big enough to get a finger in and wont allow you to manuver the bolt as needed. i kept dropping the bolt. i ended up fishing a string thrugh the small hole and out the big one and tied the end to the very end of the threads of the bolt and then pulled it through. BIG TIME SAVER! then i went to fasten the nut to the bolt and IT WOULDNT FIT!! the nuts i was suppied with were too small......lol! as well as the lock washers. luckily my father in law had some that fit. no problems now. so the first bar took me like 2.5 hrs until i got the right parts and fiured out how to get the bolt through the hole. the other bar took maybe 30 mins. they look great and i think the overall effect outweighs the small nuts and lock washers. i love 'em"

"I compared the bar type with several others and found the rounded section and curved ends to be the most rigid and user friendly relative to 'shin' dents. As for the installation, after accepting the fact that I had to disconnect the cab from the frame (albeit one bolt at a time), the installation went very smooth. Plus, they look very cool."

"The nerf bars were delivered on time and all parts were in the box. They were fairly easy to install. The two metric nuts that mounted to existing frame bolt did not seem to fit snug. Consider maybe putting one extra part of each size in the bag in case problems arise."

"The Westin Signature Series Step Bars look great on my truck. My wife also likes how they look and make it easier to get into the cab. Installation was very easy. All pieces were clearly marked. The hardest part was trying to find out how tight (ft-lb) the body mount bolts needed to be tightened."

"These steps look really great. The directions had pictures that were hard to see (bad copies). So put foreward plate on first, connect bar and swing into place, this will show where rear plate fits. Very Happy."

Easy on

"I put the bars on this past weekend. They fit perfect and was not dificult for a mechanicaly challanged person the install. Only trouble I has was with one of the frame bolts being stubborn coming out. A breaker bar took care of that. It probably took just over one hour total time.They look great on the truck"

"I ordered these, had them both on in about 45 minutes but what I received was not the curved end type pictured. The ones I actually received are completely straight. I was surprised when I opened the box but in the end, they look awesome."
