"Ordering the bars was a snap, putting them on was also. I was disappointed that one of the bars had a couple small dents. They looked like hail dents on a hood of a car. They should have been inspected better. I did not send them back because of the hassle. Otherwise all is ok."

"Ive had a pair of Westin step bars on my 98 F150 and they were great. I just put a pair on my 2004 Ranger and they too look great. A quality product and very easy to ibnstall."

"Had some trouble (as we are novices at this type of thing) in understanding a key part of the directions. With a little internet searching, we figured it out. Was fairly easy after that and took a short time to do. The bars themselves are great!"

"Easy and sharp product! I bought the black coated step bars and am very happy with the ease of installation (I did it by myself) and looks! Be careful with the snap in clips (one per hold). I lost one in the frame, but used my magnet pen to retrieve. Again, excellent product!"

"I'm a pretty seasoned truck enthusiast and I know quality truck accessories when I see them. Honestly, there is no other nerf bar besides the Westin Nerf Bar. Easy to install, looks great and is backed by a good warranty. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations, they will twice as hard to install, and likely will degrade and rust much faster."

"Installation was simple, they took every bit of 45 minutes to completely install both sides and no problems in doing so, the look is simply awesome, and if you are short like we are they are practical, worth every penny. best investment made the truck look sporty, and serves a purpose."

"The directions were a little deceiving saying that the front 2 supports are the same for both sides. There is a right and left side for the front 2 support bars. Even with this problem, they were esy to install - took less than 1-1/2 hrs. With the 3 support bars, they are very strong and will support a lot of weight. Also the picture is deceiving - they do not bend into the body - they are straight bars. I would highly recommend them for a good, sturdy and eye appealing step bar."

"I love how the bars look on the side of my 04 Silverado. The only problem were the instructions to install. Westin can definately do a better job illustrating how to install. Overall though, I am very pleased."

"The Westin Signature Series Step bars installed easy and look great. I had to re-route my e-brake cable, but other then that the installation took far less time then I expected. AutoAnything was great to deal with and delivered quickly. I would recommend both to anyone."

"Install was very easy, taking maybe an hour (after dark w/ a trouble light only). Quality of the bars and attachment frames is quite good. I am a bit concerned by the washers that came in the kit, they are on the small side diameter wise, and the hardware in general is not stainless steel, so I will replace it all before winter. The bars are sturdy and look great. I'd recommend them to anyone, but think about stopping by the hardware store for better body-attachment hardware."

"Easy to install and give my Escape a customized look. I think they look much better than the factory installed nerf bars, which of course will run you around $600 from a dealer. More importantly, they stand up to heavy loads and frequent use. I highly recommend them."
