Installation nightmare

"The Engineer who designed the rear support bracket needs his behind kicked... no way I tried to mount it would it fit... I ended up building my own bracket to mount his bracket to the rear of of the cab. I also cut his bracket to look more swept in design, instead looking like something for a bulldozer... other than that they look great.."

"High quality bars very easily installed. Instructions were good but the cab bolts provided were too short to fit my '06 GMC Sierra. Not a problems since the factory bolts could simply be removed and reinstalled to mount the brackets. It was easiest to start all the bolts before tightening them to aid in proper alignment. Then just torque them down and you're ready to roll. They look sharp and work great."

"Open the box. Directions were excellent. Step by step, easy, quick. 1st side, 45 minutes, 2nd side 25 minutes. Look great and hopefully will handle the Colorado chemicals....Thank you"

Quality high, step placement needs review

"The step bar is well made and it installed quickly. The location of the front step insert for entering is fine. But for exiting the truck it needs to be wider. The safe and natural foot placement when stepping down is a good 6 inches further down the step, towards the rear."
