"I installed these bars on my '05 Frontier and they look fantastic. They complement the chrome front and rear bumpers on the truck extremely well. Contrary to other reviews my bars arrived very well packaged with no damage and all the necessary hardware was included. Yes, the instructions are a little vague but it's pretty simple once you get under your vehicle and figure out how everything fits. The first side took about 30-40 minutes because I had to swap out one of the brackets to properly align the holes but the other side was a breeze, 10 min. tops. I attached the brackets to the vehicle and then the bars to the brackets, which is easiest if you don't have a second set of hands. The bars easily support my 230 lbs. with minimal flex, but I'm 6'3" tall so I bought them primarily for shorter passengers and because they look awesome. While expensive this is a quality stainless steel product that I recommend because I have seen how easily cheaper products corrode. Lifetime warranty a plus as well."

"Good bars. The steps to install them are easy enough. 1) Have a second person to help you hold the rails 2) Make sure you have a good socket set w/ attachments that will provide you with good torque to undue the bolts that are on the truck 3) They look great and seem VERY solid."

My Acura MDX special addition

"The Westin platinum Step Bars really improves the looks of my Acura. Of course my wife, Nancy, likes them for another reason. She's all of 5'4" with her Sunday shoes on and had a hard time getting in before I installed the "Bars." I'm 6'4" without my Sunday shoes on and have no problem getting in. I just really like the way they look on my SUV. The instllation was a snap but there was one small problem. The instruction sheet was mislabled. The diagram incorrectly matched the bolts to the brackets. Not a big deal though. It took only a few minutes and some common sence to fiqure it out. I think it took all of 30 minutes to put each side on. What a breeze. Thanks "Auto Anything" and a special thanks to Ryan who helped me with my purchase.....Sincerly, Gary from Califonia"

"Look great and were easy to install once I could make sense of the instructions. Total install took less than 30 minutes. Four of the washers were too small so I substituted. Better instructions and the correct hardware would have gotten 5 stars."

"The whole buying experience with AutoAnything was great, quick, no problems. The Westin Platinum step bar looks great, solidly built, easy to install on my 2006 Durango. The instructions didn't match the vehicle exactly but it was close enough to pose no problems. My only concern was the packaging. I'm surprised that it arrived without damage, the packaging looked like something my youngest child would have packed. Lucky that there wasn't any damage. Overall: I would buy from AutoAnything again, good experience."

"The bars look great, but do not stick out far enough from the body to really be effective for stepping on to get in or out. Directions are very poor and not specific to a vehicle, but you can figure it out anyway. But the bars look great (I know I already said that!)!!"

"These steps are definetly of excellent quality. The fit and finish is excellent as well. Took me about 30 minutes to put the first side on and about 15 minutes to do the opposite side. They look great. The packaging was nice also in that they come with a plastic sleeve which I left on until they were mounted to protect them from scratching. Definetly will do business with AutoAnything again. Great Service!"
