"Received the running boards and am happy with the purchase; However the installation instructions can and should be alot better. I installed the running boards and liked how Dee Zee had the measurements reasonably dead on, then the kicker, Dee Zee supplies 1" bolts for an i-beam that is 4" thick. As if Dee Zee didn't know? All other measurements really close except that one? How much more would it have cost to supply 4 bolts 4.5" long, so that the installation could have been completed?
So I suggest; Better instructions and all the hardware to complete installation."

"the running boards were easy to install, it took me about 2 hours. I was shorted a couple of nuts and bolts, but I was able to find them at my local hardware store. everything fit nicely and all the holes lined up between the brackets and truck. the instructions were a little hard to follow but after laying out the parts it became pretty clear on how to install them. they lined up nice and straight and look professional. I would buy them again."

"At 78 I don't get up and doun very well, But my 53 year old son does. No need for jacks. He was able to do the whole instalation lying beside the truck. A spring shower delayed the work for a while. Add visiting helping the grandson with his math (home schooled) and instalation less than two hours.

"The running boards were easy to install on my 2007 E350. I did have to buy some different screws to install 1 location called for bolts but there was no access to the back of the nuts so I had to use more of the sheet metal srews. All and all great product. Thank you"

"The boards came in excellent condition. All parts were in the package. The instructions were easy to read but the pictures were very faint and hard to see. This would not be a problem except when you try and use it for a guide. The hardware packages need to be indentified so you can be sure which part is being reffered to. No drilling was required.
The mud flap does not fit the F250 so I left it off and used the factory Ford flaps."

"the running boards look great in black with my burgundy van. They were reasonably easy to install and did not require (the expected) wheel removal. They also do the main job of keeping rocks from scratching the turned in rocker panels and make it easier for short people to enter the van. They should be standard eqipment! Recommend highly. The only problem to install was the centre support bracket which could not be installed as instructed."

"I was short a few sheet metal screws and washers, but those were easy to get at the local hardware store. I received the boards surprisingly soon after I ordered them. I was impressed by how well engineered the running boards were. They were pretty easy to install, though I would have appreciated more guidance about how the boards should line up with the cab and bed (how far forward the cab boards should be placed so that the bed boards line up appropriately. The running boards look great, feel very solid and give my truck a more finished look. The truck has aluminum wheels, an aluminum hauling rack and chrome bumpers; the aluminum running boards fit in well."

"My first impression upon opening the carton was this is not the quality I expected. The clearcoat finish is poor, the rubber caps at each end are cheap looking, and the picture I ordered from shows a wheel-well to wheel-well fit. It was only after going back to the autoanything site and reading in detail was I able to confirm that there are two parts, the second half of which I have yet to find so that I can order and spend more money for what I thought I was gettng to begin with. Installation seems easy enough although not attempted yet because I'm still trying to find the bed piece to complete the wheel-well to wheel-well unit as pictured."
