Easiest Installation Ever

"The Dee Zee FX running boards were received the second day after I placed the order. Having installed other manufacturers' running boards in the past, I was wary of the easy installation claims made by the manufacturer... boy was I surprised. Everything was clearly detailed in the instructions & best of all, everything fit as advertised. I installed both boards in less than an hour. I recommend this product without reservation. They look good too!"

"The running boards look very good on my va. The only thing thar I see wrong with them was that there was no written directions. It toook my son-in-law and me 4/12 hrs to put them on because of this. Other than that they are fine."

"So, as I crawled under my truck, I observed two different sets of Factory Mounting Points for running boards. However, as I began to install them, I noticed that these running boards use neither of the factory mounting points. Plus, the universal mount system provides a connection to the vehicle that is well below the quality of a custom mount."

"Installation was smooth and boards look great on the truck. Did take advise from other people and used lock washers when attaching boards to bracket arms. Excellent product at a great price!"

"There are a few steps.
After installing one side and triming the rubber mud flap to fit (1 1/2 hrs) the next side was easy. (1/2 hrs)"

"They look just great, as if they were always a part of my truck. They appear to be contoured to my truck and not an eyesoar. My wife actually likes them as well. She said, " It makes my truck pop." I have gotten plenty of compliments. Also the price was excellant. Thank You
Harry "

"For the most part I am satisfied with the product. The only comment I have, which I also passed on to Dee Zee, is that there were no lock washers in the kit. The supplied nuts are not locking type therefore you will need to install lock washers to ensures the nuts will not back off. I went ahead and purchased the required washers and install them."

"The engineering on the mounting brackets is very strong and easy to figure out,but the 1/4x20 grade #2 front mounting bolt was well below the DEE ZEE,standards. The molded rubber at the ends are softer than they were on my last set and fit was not as tight to the contour of the boards as it once was.The boards have an unexplainable (step)in thier top edge; and the rear boards do not meet up to the truck body as the front boards do,you can actually see daylight between the rocker panel and the sideboard edge on the rear boards only, not the front. With my last set this is,nt so.I am not as satisfied with these FX boards as I was my last set of FX boards, and the instructions were terrible.I am crazy about their design, and streangth, the guage of the brackets and boards is fine."

Dee Zee FX Running Boards

"Installation of the Dee Zee FX Running Boards was more difficult than I was led to believe. Trying to drill the holes on the angle iron while underneath the vehicle is nearly impossible unless you have special tools. Also, the mud flaps did not match the wheel wells and I had to scrap them. Other than that, it's a pretty good deal and the running boards are quite helpful for my kids to get into our full size Chevy Express van."

"I bought the FZ style running boards. They look great and they were easy to install. I like the no drill body mounts. The Mountss are heavy duty and they do not flex when you stand on the boards. They should last longer then the truck."

DZ FX boards for 2005 Ram 1500

"Product arrived ahead of promised date. Instructions not very good, pictures dark and hard to follow. 2nd side went in easily (30 mins) after I figured it out. Quality of boards fair (not good, almost poor) Lots of exposed adhesive and some poor finsh on the aluminum portions. Installed, they look great on my Ram 1500 from anything but ultra close inspection. Happy with price and finished look."

"I find them to be a very high quality product that is totally functional and looks great on the truck and mkes the truck look better..but, I find the instructions lacking in exact directions for the model F-250 I would find it easier if they were more specific for the model especially if, they proovided pictures with each step"
