No other running board by Dee Zee offers as many deluxe features as their FX series. Besides being completely custom-designed for a perfect fit onto your truck or SUV, their cushioned step pads deliver unparalleled traction. Plus, the designer black lining and mud flaps are OEM-approved, so they'll match the rest of your trim. And, the FX Running Boards have a thick rubber gasket to seal off the space between the boards and your chassis to eliminate gravel buildup.
Since strength is vital to a robust pair of running boards, the FX Running Boards are crafted from solid aluminum. You also get to choose between the clear or the UltraBlack powder coat finish.
Best of all, the FX Running Boards use Dee Zee's innovative Quick Bracket mounting system. This greatly reduces the installation time over other running boards, and requires little or no drilling. All mounting hardware is included, along with a 1-year warranty.

I bought these powderd black FX running boards to help keep the body of my truck in good condition. This is my first set of DZ's FX running boards because there are few other options. I had them installed by a body shop and they look excellent, feel sturdy, and have done a good job keeping debris off my truck. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to keep there truck looking good and wants an alternative to the "bar" style.

They look great on my truck. Very sturdy boards and brackets. I had a little trouble with the inserts and with lining up the boards with the bracket slots. Nothing a little patience didn't solve. Overall I am very happy with the boards. John, Kansas City

good boards considering price and quality since other brands require additional purchase for brackets. This one comes with. Just wish they included the board that continues all the way to the rear wheel to make a cleaner appearance. They do for dodge but not ford. Fairly sturdy overall but not as much towards the two ends of the boards. The brackets are mounted to the rocker panels which consist of sheet metal so expect a minimal play when weight applied.

Put these on a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 single cab. I think the boards are a great value. The price was on the lower end, and they look great on the truck. The only issue I had was the instillation. The instructions say to put on the braces, then attach the boards. Like another reviewer said, attach the braces to the boards, then install the whole thing. Way easier! I only bought the cab section, but now that they are on the truck I think I'll get the bed section too.

The bolts from boards to mounts are cheesy, spend $10- getting grade 8 bolts and washers. They snap off easily. You need an Impact wrench or breaker bar to get body mounts off. Nice OEM mounts, however running board parts are not labled driver or passenger side. Instructions are horrible. Great product and installation if you do not need to rely on instructions.

The install was a little difficult, but the resulting strength of the boards is excellent ! I would recommend these boards for anyone who has been disappointed with flimsy running boards. They are super stable and stout.
