Description

No other running board by Dee Zee offers as many deluxe features as their FX series. Besides being completely custom-designed for a perfect fit onto your truck or SUV, their cushioned step pads deliver unparalleled traction. Plus, the designer black lining and mud flaps are OEM-approved, so they'll match the rest of your trim. And, the FX Running Boards have a thick rubber gasket to seal off the space between the boards and your chassis to eliminate gravel buildup.

Since strength is vital to a robust pair of running boards, the FX Running Boards are crafted from solid aluminum. You also get to choose between the clear or the UltraBlack powder coat finish.

Best of all, the FX Running Boards use Dee Zee's innovative Quick Bracket mounting system. This greatly reduces the installation time over other running boards, and requires little or no drilling. All mounting hardware is included, along with a 1-year warranty.

Notes

  • The Quick Bracket mounting system makes installing your new FX Running Boards a snap. Many late-model Chevy, Ford and Dodge pickups will not need any drilling, and other vehicles require only a minimal amount.

"I installed them on a 09 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and had a lot of trouble with the fitting and lining up splash guards. They are on and look great but definitely not as easy to install as they claim."

"The installation went a little harder than I had thought. the rubber gasket went on hard, the screws that slide in on the bottom side did not slide easily. The mounting brackes need to be more clearly marked, two are nearly the same size and of course I got them mixed up on the first side I attempted. I was also disappointed that the running boards do not extend wheel well to wheel well, they only go to the back of the cab. The picture on the website shows them going from wheel well to wheel well. The quality is good and they look very nice."

"Received the running boards and am happy with the purchase; However the installation instructions can and should be alot better. I installed the running boards and liked how Dee Zee had the measurements reasonably dead on, then the kicker, Dee Zee supplies 1" bolts for an i-beam that is 4" thick. As if Dee Zee didn't know? All other measurements really close except that one? How much more would it have cost to supply 4 bolts 4.5" long, so that the installation could have been completed? So I suggest; Better instructions and all the hardware to complete installation."

"I sure love to put things togeather, being retired and 78 years young i have all day to do things,so after the first one was on number two was easy, and they sure look nice on my new dodge pickup and are very handy for getting in and out of truck. And my wife of 57 years likes them to!!"

"the running boards were easy to install, it took me about 2 hours. I was shorted a couple of nuts and bolts, but I was able to find them at my local hardware store. everything fit nicely and all the holes lined up between the brackets and truck. the instructions were a little hard to follow but after laying out the parts it became pretty clear on how to install them. they lined up nice and straight and look professional. I would buy them again."
