"The other nurf bars are so narrow and fit so close to the truck body they are not useful or safe to use when exiting the truck. These are wide enough to get safe footing on them when exiting and my wife no longer looks like she is going down a slide at the park when she exits our 2008 Tundra. Of course they work well for getting into the truck too. We got the stainless steel ones for our double cab Tundra and they look great. The instructions were good and I found them simple to install. We couldn't be happier with them!"

"I purchased these so that my wife could use them to make getting in and out of the SUV easier. After the install, I noticed that they do not stick out enough to put your foot on the metal plate. The brackets don't have any adjustment on them for useable placement. I really would like to see some type of extension bracket to allow a 2"-3" range so that they can be used for the purpose that I purchased them for. They're awesome looking, but my wife is not happy at all. Any possible solutions???"

"The running boards look GREAT with the FJ Cruiser. I had a scratch on one of the boards from shipping, there should be a protective wrap on the boards inside the box, (I was able to touch-up the scratch). Easy to install, but the brackets with my order were color coded opposite to the side the instructions said, the brackets have to go on the proper side or they will not fit. Over all I am very pleased with the looks, I wanted somethind that looked differant than everyone else, and the Romiks did the job!!"

"Between opening the box, reading the instructions, figuring out what is what and installation, it took 1 1/2 hours. Easy installation. Very solid and sturdy. Not to mention fast delivery. I had it in 3 days."

"The instructions were backwards from how we actually installed them. On the passenger side we used 20 washers because the bracket for my vehicle did not match the bracket for the running board. there was a dent in the drivers side running board when we opened the package. Overall a bad experiance. I would not recommend them."

"Really like the style. Should be wrapped in something prior to being put into the cardboard box. During shipment they rub against the box and scuffs up the paint. They should have a mount bracket that bolts to the frame rails; threaded bolt holes are already there. Current mounting to the fame with the frame bolts/rubber bushings allows for vibration and noise when driving over bumps in the road. With that said; I'm still satisfied with them. Nothing's perfect."

"they were fairly easy to out on once you did one the second went a alot faster. The instuctions were lacking detail they need updating but if you are handy they should not be a problem. I installed the black rails and they very sharp. Also they are very soild as a guy like me that weights 300 lbs. couldn't budge standing or jumpimg on them."

"Ramp was shipped in two days, very quickly. Installation instructions were good enough for the technically able, be patient. I did the inst. in my drive way in a hour and a half. Looks great and really comes in handy climbing in the truck. Also loads of grip in wet/rain. Fit and finish excellent, shipping packaged well enough but it weighs 70lbs so expect shipping C.O. to throw it around, the box looked a bit banged up but no damage was evident. Love it."

"These boards were hundreds less than factory boards, and they look as good as or even better than the factory boards! All the hardware was included and fit perfectly. Installation took less than two hours with help from my 4-yr old and the good ol' air socket wrench. Highly recommend this product."

"I found the directions to be very clear and left me no surprises when installing the running boards. I was shorted a couple of washers, but that was the only item I had issue with. I am not a mechanic but was able to get both boards installed within 2 hours. These boards are connected to the underside of the vehicle at both ends. There is a little bounce in the boards when stepping on them but that is not a big deal. Overall, I would install this product again on another vehicle if needed."

"Order the Romik steps and received them from autoanything.com in literally one day! They look good, are made of extremely durable material, and did I mention they look great? Took me about 2 hours to install with only a couple of wrenches so no special tools needed. A word of caution - look at the provided installation diagram carefully to avoid having to interchange mounting brackets since it's easy to put them on backwards during installation. Otherwise, install was a breeze and after 3 weeks they seem to be doing great! Highly recommend this purchase."

"Ad States No Drilling For Installation Required Which Is False, Measurements And Drilling Are Required, So If You Quote A Customer An Installed Price You Better Add One And A Half To Two Hours Labor To The Figure So You Don't Lose Your Behind."

"I really like the product. They look super on my F350. The instructions took awhile to decipher but worked well. The picture of where to put the forward set of self-holding nuts for securing the brackets could be more accurate. Also, a minor disappointment was the black paint along the bar was marred in shipment. For $450 they should come perfect. Overall a great looking and sturdy product. Bob H."
