"We just bought these for our H3. As far as looks go, they look great. The only thing I can find wrong with the way they look is that it seems like the rear brackets are just a little too long or the front ones are just a little too short. Which means, when you stand back and look at them there is a little bit more of a gap between the running board and rocker panel at the rear than there is at the front. It's not really that noticeable though. The thing that I have more of a problem with is the fact that they mount to the body mounts. They are plenty sturdy to stand on, but they make a lot of noise. I tightened all of the bolts to the amount of torque specified, and they still creak. But overall it's a small sacrifice because they look great. If you are curious, the tread part of the step IS metal, even though it is hard to tell in the pictures. I guess that the step part is just steel with a hammered texture paint that is black and grey, which looks silver from a distance. I hope this review has helped someone, because when I was researching these, this is the information I wish someone had given me."

"Really like the style. Should be wrapped in something prior to being put into the cardboard box. During shipment they rub against the box and scuffs up the paint. They should have a mount bracket that bolts to the frame rails; threaded bolt holes are already there. Current mounting to the fame with the frame bolts/rubber bushings allows for vibration and noise when driving over bumps in the road. With that said; I'm still satisfied with them. Nothing's perfect."

"These running boards are well built and really add to the appearance of our Saturn Outlook. My 3 year old loves them as the make it much easier for him to climb in and out of the car. Installation was simple. Autoanything made the purchase experience easy."

Sleak Sidesteps

"The chrome sidesteps are very sleak and cool looking. The design makes the appear as though they designed by the manufacturer, Nissan, which is part of the appeal. Most of the appeal comes with how they bring out the "bling" with my chrome wheels."

"These Romik Running board sidesteps are really awesome looking. The problem is they do not come out far enough for all passengers to feel confident about stepping on them without loosing their footing. This will cause a footing issue in the winter time more-so than summer time. They would be perfect if it were not for that. Therefore I did not rate the quality any higher than fair."

"read ALLL the directions was a snap once figured out how to do it..Called company and they was quick to help got help with first call actually tech answered phone..Pictures in instructions just not what you expect but it all works and slick would advise to use a pair of vise grips with installer and works much faster..Youll see..Fit purfectlly LOOKK SHARP..Ater first side done could install a set in 45 minutes to be honest tho took 3 hours call for help and youll figure ot out QUICK.."

"Appearance is great; installation a bit more difficult than necessary due to language not being included with pictures. Passenger side went on perfectly and rail to frame distance is consistent the length of the rail. Despite 3 removals and reinstallations, drivers side is rail to frame distance is closer at front door than rear door. Makes me onder if mounting bracket is designed to be 1/8 to 1/4 inch closer to driver's door? Ideally, frame mounting brackets would be 1/4 to 1/2 longer on both sides to provide maximum surface area for footplacement on top of rail."

"The Running Boards look great and installation was relatively easy. Total install time for both sides totalled one and half hours. The instructions were a bit "fuzzy" so spent a bit of time trying to decipher the pictures and how the hardware would be installed. After one side, the second side went quickly. It can be done by jacking up the car one side at a time so a lift is not really needed. The only issue I have is the Romik name plate on the running boards. I dont like driving around with advertising and want to remove them. Not sure how they are affixed, however, so I dont want to create a problem. They are a contrasting color to the black boards so they stand out and in my view an eyesore. Other than that the the boards are very functional and look great."

"I was very well please with all of characteristics of the running boards except the width. I felt it was too narrow. My 2008 GL320 has a piece that protrudes at the bottom of the doors and therefore when the running boards are attached they only stick out enough to get the tip of your shoe on the rurnning board."
