"The Westin Nerf Bars installed easily and are far superior to the brand I had before the wreck. The fit is great allowing easy entry to the vehicle unlike the others which set too far under the cab. Highly pleased!"

Nice Nerf Bars, Easy Installation at a Great Price

"The E-Series nerf bars are well-made and installed easily using my Titan's factory step bar mounts. The appearance of my steps is a little different than those on the F-150 in the stock photo. The steps are solid and actually seem to have made the body of my extended cab truck a little more rigid. The steps arrived two days after I placed my order."

Great product but poor installation instructions

"The quality of the materials and workmanship are excellent, and they look great on my Nissan Pro 4X. However, the instructions were down right incorrect. The bar described as being for the "passenger side" and the bar described as being for the "driver side" were reversed. The mounting brackets were stamped as being for the Left or Right front, center, or rear, and made more sense. The bars should share the same type of markings as the mounting brackets for a product that may be sold internationally. I really like the product - it was just frustrating, having to crawl under the vehicle a dozen times trying to figure out what went where."

"Well, first off, I am going to have to say that I recieved the package less than a week after I ordered it. Really nice. I would have to agree with the comments on the directions, they do not provide much direction besides just giving you a picture. As long as you have some common sense, you should be able to install them. There was some really tight fitting areas for a couple of the mounting bolts, but are worth the work for how they look and sit on the truck. I am very pleased with the purchase. Thank you."

Great Look and Tremendous Strength

"The shipment arrived as promissed. The bars fit the existing securements and holes once the instructions were figured out. The installation could have been much easier if the instructions fit the product but I received parts that didn't match the instructions. A few calls to the Tech. Dept. was necessary and even they couldn't understand all of the problems. Once I figured out the parts and their fit, the bars went on fine. These are strong to step on and look great. If you have the time and ability to reason, the installation will finally come to light. As far as the product: great product with a very good price."

"They shipped them to me fast, I got the black powder coated ones, they installed fast and easy. Only took me about 30 minutes or so. They Look great! I don't think you can get a better deal for your money, I know I looked all over. My only grip and it's a small one. Is when i unpackaged them there was an ever so small ding in one end of the driver side bar. the plastic end caps that come on them to protect them from such small damage was all broken up, and it did nothing to protect them while in shipping. but i bent it back out with pliers and all is good, except for a small space where the powder coated finish flaked off. Still can barely see it, and i would buy them again, no worries, still the best deal out there."

"i've had signature series bars in the past, and they rotted out. these steps seem pretty much the same design, but the brackets actually look to be a little stronger, and the lifetime warranty is nice. hopefully i wont need it but i live up north with a lot of salt on the ground in the winter. steps look great and are very sturdy."

"So far they seem to be okay. They were very easy to install. It took about 30-45 minutes to do both sides. All of the hardware was there and the bars look really nice. Hopefully, they will maintain their looks for several years. So far, I'm please with them and it definitely makes getting in and out of the truck much easier."

"Easy to install, takes 2 hours without wife/kids/dog interruptions, wait until finished to drink beer. Additional tools needed that are not in the instructions: needle-nose & flat screwdriver (for pulling the clips/pins), and socket set. First, separate all hardware into their own piles and know what size each is, arrange from largest to smallest. Second, read the instructions several times thru before starting. The hardest part is pulling the clips and plastic screw out to start. There is no drilling rqd. Mine are chrome, they look super-sharp! Ordered and had them in 2 days FedEx. Very sturdy too!"

"The overall product is good. The directions need some help. They are poorly worded and pictures are hard to make out. The parts are sometimes marked incorrectly. The instructions did not include a torque requirement and I e-mailed Westin for help and did not receive a reply. Overall a good produce with poor directions and customer service."

"I ordered a set of chrome bars for my 2006 F250 on Monday and they were delivered on Friday. Installation was fairly easy and straightforward once I figured it out. The first one took about an hour and I have to concur that the instructions could have been a bit clearer as to which set of frame holes to use. I initially mounted the forward bracket in the wrong set of holes on my first attempt as I didn't see the most forward holes. Also, the forward set of holes only allows for three bolts vs. the four indicated on the instructions so I probably wouldn't have used them at first anyway. Once I knew where to mount the brackets it was easy and the second bar went on in less than 15 minutes. Functionality is what you should expect. They provide a good step up into the cab and don't flex under my 225 pounds. Also look good. All-in-all, I give an "Excellent" to this product and to the purchasing experience from AutoAnything"

"I'm sure the bars themselves are excellent. The instructions of how to put them on sucks. I received parts that are not even on the parts list. I have a support bracket for the front that I can't find a home for. I thought this would be an easy greasy install and I'm sure with proper directions it would be but now I'm faced with taking this to someone who installs these for a living & paying more for an install that the directions should have told me how to do. Maybe it's just my truck or maybe it's just me but I would have rather spent ten dollars more to have had right directions."

"received them timely. Instructions were easy to read. installation was simple. The two center brackets (driver and passenger center brackets) were incorrectly stamped wrong and I just switched them around. My 12 year old son installed them in just under an hour from the time we opened the box, read the instructions and tighten the last bolt."

"I was cautious about getting these bars because I didn't know if they would fit a 2007 new body style Silverado with Husky mud guards. They fit perfectly and the polished stainless steel looks awesome. I put them on myself in no time, and I am a small woman! The instructions aren't the most helpful, but give a general idea of what to do."
