Westin 3" Signature Series Round Nerf Bars Part #25-0900 Customer Reviews

They installed pretty easy. The only problem was, the back of my bars were attached with an angle iron. The new one went to the body mounting bolt and the bolts that came with it were to long. Thank goodness I was able to use the old bolt I had removed from the front of the bar to mount it.

i bought the black steps and they look great. I'd highly recommend them. The shippment from autoanything was very fast (2 days:). The install instructions could be better, but once I laid out the parts the install made sense ('l' bracket install up to bushing, not directly to main frame).

The Westin Nerf Bars look outstanding on my Chevy Blazer. Not only does it protect door digs, but it give my vehicle a really cool look. Istallation was pretty easy. Made a couple of mistakes, but after the first one, the second was easy. The direction could have been a little more easier to read. All in all, the intall went pretty good. The results turned out to be fantastic! I love Westin products. The next one will be my Toyota Tacoma 4 wheel drive!

This is the second set of Westin nerf bars I owned, these replaced the first. The first set rusted into on the drivers side only because of my abuse and neglect. So I figure that between the acid, rocks, ditches and salt the new set should hold up another four years at worst. This time I will apply a bed liner coating. Even with a three year warranty under normal use these will last alot longer with a little care.

Took 20 minutes total to install, including assembly. Don't know why some people have such trouble with the emergency brake cable, just have to move it to the side. Great product, excellent construction. Only thing that I didnt like was the fact that it mounts to the body mounts and not the frame.

I enjoy the look of the Nerf Bars on my Blazer. But that enjoyment came at a price. On the Driver's side, the rear body mount location has also has a holder for the e-brake line near it which routes this line right under the body mount. This e-brake line had to be bent and manipulated (not an easy task!) to make room for the Nerf bar mounting bracket. This added about an hour to the install time. Conversely, the Passenger side installed in about 15 minutes with no problems at all. Good Luck to anyone trying to install these on a Blazer ZR-2.
