I'm not a mechanic by any means but I did have the tools necessary to install them. The biggest problem was how much strength was needed in order to remove and then reinstall the manufacturer's bolts. I would recommend to anyone with a previous shoulder injury (like me) to buy/rent/borrow a pneumatic drill before attempting this install. Doing this by hand took me just over 4 hours. The nerf bars and mounting brackets were spot-on for alignment. There was no drilling required. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to add some style to their truck.

Fast delivery. Product exactly as described. Very easy installation..took me about 35 minutes without having any mechanics skills. The nerf bars look awesome and my wife is a very happy passenger now. Definately worth the $ and time.

Super easy to install. Out of the box and on my truck in about an hour. Great looks and great price. Would recommend to anyone looking for some nice looking nerf/step bars.

Great nerf bars, they look good and were very easy to install, they took about an hour to install both after I figured out what went where. Very easy DIY project and they are very stout. They are a outstanding finishing touch for my Z-71

I read reviews and saw complaints about the brackets making contact with the frame resulting in the bars making noise...while I was installing them, I was easily able to see where the brackets would make contact. I used the cut-off tool to hack a very small piece off of the bracket, and I'm happy to say, no noise at all! They went together easy, look great and work just like they should!

easy install , good looks, but squeaks very bad. I think I found out why. The bars bolt on to the cab frame using same bolts, I think they need to be moved back a little because they are rubbing on frame.
