I've been wanting a set of nerf bars for quite a while. They make a real difference for getting in and out of the truck. I'm planning to put a 3 1/2 inch lift kit on it now so these will really help. My wife and daughters especially like them for getting in when wearing dresses or skirts that limit leg movement. The process of purchasing these from AutoAnything was very easy and a pleasant experience.

Installation was easy. Price was great. Quality seems ok, had a small dent on one but didnt want to send it back. A little lighter than I thought they would be. Good value, and look nice.

The only reason I gave this an overall rating of 4 is the fact that the bars have 'Dee Zee' text on the steps. Would have liked them without. Very easy to install! Great product.

Nothing in the instruction sheet said that on newer model trucks you reuse the factory bolts to attach to the frame and that you did not need the reinforcing rods with the newer trucks. It does not appear that anybody from the company reads these posts since there wer numerous posts that talk about the lack of detail over which bar goes on which side of the truck. If you are a sailor with thirty years in the Navy, you probably know that red wrapping means port side which also means the left.

The appearance is eye catching right away. The installation was a breeze--hardest part was removing the factory bolts ! I had help, but this could have been done by one person using some common sense. The black step pads are wide making it easy to use without scratching the stainless finish. Overall, I will buy these again in the future if need be.

These nerf bars come exactly as advertised, clean look and very simple to install with absolutly no drilling on my 08' GMC pick up. I saw that one reviewer said that it took longer to find the tools to do the install than the job actually took to do and he was right. One small issue I had was actual final torque dementions for the bolts, I wasn't sure how far I should go as far as tightening,( I was compressing rubber bushings.) some sort of guide to that would be nice to add to the instructions.

They were very easy to install. Took me about two hours by myself, the longest\hardest part was taking out the cab bolts. They make my truck look even better now!

When they finally showed up I was impressed by how they built. They went on pretty easy, the steps themselves should be labeled left and right. But they look great and have gotten a couple positive comments already.
