I had recently traded off and SUV for a lifted 4x4. Being older and disabled I felt access was difficult for climbing into my truck. My wife also had trouble getting in. I searched the web for an affordable yet highly durable truck step set up. I found the CARR Hoop II truck steps. The price was very well within the affordable range. Installation was a snap and they work/look great! Couldn't be happier.

There was nowhere completely solid to mount them on my 94 f350. I would have to weld or bolt a solid metal plate to put them on to if I wanted them solid. If I weighed more than 140 lbs I'd be a little concerned.

These steps are affordable, and don't look like they'd be hard to install, but they put up quite a fight. Very happy with them, and would recommend them to anyone.

These Are nice steps have them on a 94 f150 on 38s easier to get in and out now. Took me about 4 hours to install them but that was because I was working on 3 trucks at once. But very easy install look great work like they're supposed to. Would recommend them to anyone.

If you don't not feel comfortable cutting, drilling and grinding. Then these are not for you. The instructions were pretty much worthless. Parts are not "universal" and I had to grind down the support bracket to fit. But all said and done I got them installed and they look really good.

I only installed these a few weeks ago on my 1994 F-250 so everything is fine at this point. I am quite pleased with the appearence, the ease of install, and the price. The only reason I marked good on the quality instead of excellent is that there were two little chips on one step when I received them. I suspect they were from the mounting plate hitting it during shipping, who knows. At any rate, I just touched up the chips and all is fine. I had a set of a brand name nerf bars on previously and they completey rusted away and they were alot more expensive than these. We'll see how these perform over time.
