New England winters are tough, especially with the salt on the roads. My old bars rusted out, so we ordered these, the came on time, and they look great...gave new life to the 2004 Dodge Ram...I will have to confess that we took the truck and the bars to our local auto service, and within an hour they had them on and ready. Now we need to wax the truck to keep up with the shiny new nerf bars. A Texan

the hardest part of installing these is taking your rusted previous nerf bars off. Some of the easiest installation i've ever done. Extremely solid structure seems very very sturdy. tehy look amazing, big shiny on a big truck. Overall great product!

Directions were good, mounting brakets were stamped wrong for installation , opposite of what they were supposed to be, also bolts for cab mounts were to long, steel craft sent new ones.

I had bought a NON stainless steel Bars in the past and they lasted 5 yrs. I was unhappy about that so I decided to buy stainless steel and thicker bars and I hope they last as long as the truck does. They look great and really help my GF get into my lifted truck. That is important, you know. The finish is a quality finish and these bars are not light compared to my previous set. Lastly my only drawback is that the directions are completely backwards in regaurds to the marked(PF,PR,DF and DR)support brakets. They are marked for the incorrect spot. Just reverse exactly what it says for a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 and you will be fine. I am in auto repair and it took me under two hrs to remove old rusted bars and put on new bars I would buy them again if I needed to for a different truck.

Very attractive, well thought out design. Installation instructions leave something to be desired. Picture are very fuzzy.....instructions vague for a neophyte mechanic. I finally figured how to install the first one after about an hour.....the other side was about 20 minutes.

I put these on a 2008 Dodge. The dealer wanted $850 bars installed. These were about 350. I would not hesitate in buying this brand again. I think the oval bars look very good and feel solid. Instructions are badly printed, cant see the pictures. Took 2 hrs for first side and 30 minutes for second side. Installed easy once I understood what the instructions meant.Im 67 and did them myself, wife helped hold.

Excellent product, very easy to install (took about an hour). The instructions were great, and were specific to the vehicle ordered for. They also look terrific. I would highly recommend these nerf bars, as they were an excellent addition to my '08 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab!!!!!
