I like the bars so far, the directions on the other hand could use some improvement. The bars seem to be of good quality, with the exception of the plastic steps that seem a little bit cheesey, but time will tell if they actually last. For the price you cant go wrong, I got 20% off which made them a great value for what I paid, and they serve the purpose for what I bought them for which is to make it easier for my daughters to climb in the truck, and to keep people from door dinging me.

Invest time in re-writing instructions, it took longer to figure instructions out than installing nerf bars. It was helpful that the pieces for each side were packed in different color plastic bags. They feel strong and look great

Need to improve the instructions by showing the different sizes of the bolts and their dimensions so the are easier to identify. Also it would help if the brackets were identified with a sticker as to driver side front etc. The figure pictures also need to be clearer. It took me a little over four hours because I mounted the left side bar on the driver side because I missed the tag on the wrapping and assumed both bars were the same. As far as the bars are concerened, they feel very solid and I am pleased with them.

I was skeptical at first based on the price, compared to the price of other step bars. But the excellent ratings from other owners swayed me to buy them, and I am glad I did. The bars look great. Instillation was not that bad. You install mounting brackets to the frame and then put the bar on those. The hardest part was figuring out the directions and how to remove the clips and plug near the front wheel, to install the mounting bracket. Once I figured that out, the rest of the instillation took no time at all. I would definitely recommend these nerf bars. I did not need a lift or any special tools. Put them on in my driveway with a socket wrench and other standard tools.

These step-bars ae just what I needed for my wife and daughters to get into my F-150. They look great! As with all the other reviews, the installation instructions could use a re-write, but after figuring out the 1st mounting bracket, the rest of the install only took about 30 minutes. At this point, 1 1/2 months from intall, I would recommend this product. I would definately recommend autoanything.com to friends!
