The final appearance on the Acadia looks really nice and not cookie cutter-like, but installation was not as easy as it should have been and the fit isn't great. The rear passenger side bracket wouldn't t fit flush again the truck frame, causing lots of flex when the bar is pushed/stepped on. The driver side rear bracket was more flush, but the stepbar as a whole is still not as rigid as I'd hoped/expected. The only member of my family that can use it without much worry is my 8 yr old son.

These nerf bars look good, but I found the installation difficult. The instructions provided did not do a good job explaining the installation. That being said I am no expert, I am sure someone with more knowledge would find the installation easier than me.

THE NERF BARS LOOK GREAT! THE ONE SIDE WAS A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO INSTALL BECAUSE THERE WAS FOAM AS IN A SOUND BARRIER TO TRY AND PUT THE BOLTS THROUGH FOR INSTALLATION. ONCE THE FIRST SIDE WAS FINALLY IN AFTER FIGHTING IT FOR 45 MINUTES THE OTHER SIDE WAS DONE IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES!

I really think I made a perfect decision buy my running boards. I did it for health problems with my leg.. cause I'm too short to climb in. But over all they put a whole new look to my truck. I love them...

Fair price, fast shipping and arrived in perfect condition. Only took 20 minutes per side to install. Recommend reading the instructions prior to install and get familiar with parts and under carriage. Highly recommend for the Chevy Traverse, looks great and very happy with purchase and instructions.

the bars weren't too bad to install on the traverse. Two hours is about right. The person who claims they did both sides in 30 minutes of full of it. Like another stated, one of the bolts must have severed the nut off the bracket because it spins freely but seems to be holding tight. These are not the sturdiest but they are very helpful for the children to get in.

Very nice product. My Traverse looks a lot cooler and my 6-year-old boy likes the easy steps now. I did find the included M8 bolts a bit short for installing the Z brackets. Went to the hardware store and got two longer ones for $3 that made the istallation so much easier. Do yourself a favor and get the long bolts, you can thank me later. Other than that, installation was easy.

I installed these on my 2011 Chevy Traverse. The installed the passenger side first and had a little difficulty with the Z-bolt allignment, but eventually I finished that side in 2 hours. I thought the driver side would go much faster since I had already installed one side. Boy was I wrong, the Z-bolt again had alignment problems but worse. I got it as close as I could and began to thread the bolt just a little so that everything would still be loose while I put the remaining bolts in. As I barely starte to thread the bolt, the nut on Z-bolt broke off. The next day I took it to a neighbor who welded it back on and after a lot of modification, bending, twisting in a vice, and grinding with a Dremmel tool, I got the Z-bolt to lign up. After a total of 8 hours, I got both sides installed. I was planning on a 1.5-2 hour job, but I was wrong. Fortunately I got everything installed before Christmas as it was a gift. I did call customer service to get a new Z-bolt and I received that a few days after Christmas. I guess I now have a spare Z-bolt that I can try to modify if the one I installed ever fails. The rest of the installation wasn't too bad, but the Z-bolts for me were a bugger. As others have said, be careful that you don't lose the Z-bolt up in the hole.
