Bought a 2014 4Runner and did not notice the lack of running boards until my kids (4 & 6) tried to climb in the backseat. I knew I would need to do something but did not want to pay a ton for an item that Toyota should include as standard stock item. Purchased the 4" Oval black nerf bars based on reviews on AutoAnything and ease of installation. I watched a youtube video on someone installing them on a Tundra since the directions provided by Westin are weak. It took me about an hour to install and was pretty easy. The nerf bars look good, price was right, and my kids can now get in and out of the truck with no problem. Can't speak to the quality yet but they look sturdy.

Have a new 4runner. Wife complained it was too high. These came very fast, not a scratch on them. Instructions were pretty good. Functional for her, but I should have got the chrome ones. Have since made more purchases from autoanything.

Bought the black coated version for 2012 4-Runner. Delivered before estimated date by UPS. Took about 15 minutes to read over installation procedure. It took one hour to install. Simple, no drilling or modification and looks really nice. Glad I didn't purchase the running board at the dealership when I bought the 4-Runner. P.S. AutoAnything really has excellent customer service! That's rare nowadays.

They were the only bars available for the 2010 4Runner. Go figure. Only available in black. Mounting was at both ends with no middle support. They do not seem very secure. I really wish I had waited until someone else brought out a better system for the new design 4Runner. I have had Westin bars in the past on several vehicles and these did not rate with them. I am highly disapointed for the price I paid. Steve Decatur, AL
