VERY heavy duty brackets with industrial grade hardware. Included instructions were sub par, but hardware list was complete. If you sort parts per side of vehicle, you'll have little trouble with self install. I spent 30 minutes sorting parts and hardware before the install. - about 40 minutes fitting and tweaking brackets. - 15 minutes snugging all hardware. - 20 minutes aligning and securing bars. - 15 minutes final tightening of all hardware. Black bars look very good on white WK2

put these bars on two weeks ago and they are cocked from back to front? after many calls to Westins help line and 2 Emails to them they cannot figure out why there is a 1" gap by the front door and a 1 1/2" gap by the rear door this does not look like they are made for my 2012 Grand Cherokee as of last contact wit Westin I am supposed to wait 3 weeks before calling them. I have researched the internet for instillation and I have put these bars on correctly. I used Westin B4 with no problem

Bought these because I'm short and 8 months pregnant. My husband installed them in about 2.5 hours and said they were kind of a pain. Other than that, they are great. We're both very pleased with the quality and appearance, especially for the price. AA had the best price by far and the shipping was free and fast! Originally wanted to get the stainless, but they were twice the price and I think the black looks nice too!

ordered westin oval steps from an authorized dealer tried to install them but had many problems with brackets, they were different lentghs.had to send pictures to westin (dealt with a guy named ormando who was EXTREMELY HELPFUL).he sent pictures to research dept who determined that the brackets were manufactured wrong so i was sent a new set of brackets.one major thing is the DIRECTIONS that come with are horrible.pictures are blurry and all directions just ramble on should be broken down some.

Now that the bars are installed, they look great and function as they should. The installation was a "bear". I have always been handy with tools and decided to install the bars myself. You will need a set of metric combination wrenches and metric sockets to do the job. You must separate the parts into groups and place them adjacent to the wheels where they will be installed. Elevate the car on a lift if possible. If you are older (I am 70) you may consider getting a garage to install these for you.

I would have to say they look ok overall. Figuring out the which bolts to use where was an issue at first, but after that installation was good. I have the black powder coated bars and the metal in some areas look a little wavey. Overall the look good, but in the installation video it claims they are made in the USA, but my shipping box clearly stated made in China. Would have second thoughts about ordering them had I knew that. We will see how they hold up under Indiana winters to make a final comment.
