Overall, I'm very pleased with the Nerf Bars. They look great and were easy to install. The package that they arrived in was all beat up. The end had been busted out. Both of the nerf bars had dents in them which is why I didn't rate them 5 stars. The directions are somewhat misleading because they have the braces identified wrong. The drivers side is the passenger side and vice versa. Overall nice additions to my truck.

they are not as strong as westen nerf bars because westen has a extra bracket that bolts to the frame and nerf bar without the extra support they are a little shakey.can you buy the extra bar that bolts to the frame for smittybilt

These were almost a straight bolt on but I had to drill the front mounting slots on the bracket for the bar. The slots were not long enough to actually mount the bars and I had to drill them out another half inch forward in order for them to fit properly. Real pain in the ass since the brackets are thick and I do not own a drill press.

Shipment arrived very quickly and was packed nicely. Had a little underbody damage on driver side of my truck, so it took me a long time to install the bar on the driver's side. Mounting bars were mislabeled driver/passenger front were switched. It didn't take long to figure that out though. Passenger side installation was a breeze. Directions could be a little clearer, but overall I am very happy with the bars. Be sure to use the washers b/c factory pre-punched screw holes were pretty big. The stainless steel looks great and it feels sturdy! So far so good.

Relatively simple to install. Had to cut hole for driver side rear. Tried to call service support. Was told technician would call back which didn't happen. Figured it out for myself though.
