One demerit for two minor things wrong. 5 of the 6 mounting bolts fit perfectly, I didn't bother with the other. The welded on step is not level, but still usable. Everything else went perfectly.

I mounted these on my FJ in about 30 minutes. All of the hols lined up perfectly and all you really need is someone to help hold the brackets in place while you start the screws. They look great and work great as steps for my vertically challenged friends and family :-)

The steps really look great on my FJ. They were very easy for me to install and the quality is superior. I saved hundreds of dollars buying from AutoAnything. Buy with confidence. Frank in Raleigh NC

I installed these myself in about 30 minutes. Crawled under FJ and just had someone hold the steps in place. The short part of steps goes towards the back of car. 12mm to take off old bolts and 13mm for new. Steps look great, love them and auto anything was the cheapest

These look great! The install was pretty straight-foward. They must have listened to feedback from others because these were correctly labeled for the driver's and passenger's side. The driver's side didn't line up perfectly, but with a little muscle I was able to get the bolts in. There are optional mounting brackets that I didn't get, but would recommend. There is only one pre-drilled hole on the front of the FJ, where the smitty nerfs have two holes for mounting... Without the brackets I just used one bolt and it's still very strong...

I work at a auto body shop in minnesota. I have seen and put on all kinds of nerf bars. They are the nicest bars to put on only took 20min all by my self. You can't beat the price. The shiping was fast too.

When I stopped in at a local 4X4 shop to check prices autoanything beat there price easily on the same steps and after reading other reviews about instalation,I saved another eighty bucks by doing it myself, about one hour from start to finish.I ordered my steps on sunday afternoon and when I got home from work on Tuesday my steps were waiting at my front door.I am not a little fellow and these steps are very strong and realy make my FJ cruiser look good and were "EASY" to install.
