I could not find the F250 in the pkg I wanted with step in the tailgate like my 2013 had, so after a lot of study and review reading, I bought the Trekstep, the instructions are incomplete but I used the ones fm amp R. much better, and once you realize that the oem bumper bolts are welded to a piece of bar stock and it keeps pushing back you need to keep it tight to the frame to get the nuts on, used 3 shims, works great, "Luv It"

Easy to install , I spent 45 minute putting it on , would have been faster but it was raining. It would have been nice if it had came with 4 shims instead of 3 on my ford.

I like this step because you can get in or out of the truck with the tailgate up or down. The ford one must be used with the tailgate in the open position.

The directions are a little non specific. I had to use an impact air tool to loosen the bolts from the frame. You need to remove the front 2 bolts and loosen the rear 2 bolts in order to get the step bracket in place. The 2 bolt heads that fasten the step brackets together are 16mm,not 17mm as stated in the instructions. If I had to install another one, I could do it in about 15 minutes instead of an hour. Couldn't be happier with the end results.

Highly functional, great quality finish and engineering. It was easy to install with straight forward instructions; did it myself in less than 20 minutes. I will definitely buy this product again if a need arises.

This is a good product. The materials and design are excellent and the installation is fairly easy. I especially like the feature where the step folds up tightly against the bumper and is unlikely to catch debris.

I reserve one star as I cannot speak for long term durability. I did need a bracker bar to remove nuts the bracket mounts to. Works well and should save stress on older knees. I did install no drill mud flaps to reduce the amount of matter slung onto step as well as the running board. Stays put in the stowed position just do not forget to retract it.
