Broadfeet OEM Style Running Boards Reviews

Finally I can get into my car!

Reviewed By Tracy R (West Chester, PA) Reviewed for a 2016 BMW X5 —1/31/2017 4:54 PM

I just had the running boards installed on my BMW X5 yesterday by a local automotive shop we have used in the past. They said they were fairly easy to install and took 2 hours. The only problem they encountered during installation was the plastic clips (which secure the RB to the car) included with the running boards kept breaking (hence the 4 stars out of 5). They were able to get BMW clips($15) delivered the same day, which they said are much better than those provided.

Quality

Received step quickly, easy to install, it is very well built, I don't see where there could be any problem with breakage or becoming loose at any point, very solid when stepping on it and folds up and down very easily. I was going to build one when I ran across this one, they have worked out all the little problems and details and came up with a very well built quality product. For the money you can't go wrong.

Classy

Reviewed By Dennis S (SOUTHLAKE, TX) Reviewed for a 2016 Jeep Cherokee —1/18/2017 4:19 AM

I had these for over two weeks and finally decided to have a local authorized Romik installer put them on. Glad I did as it took them 2 hours (labor book rate was 1-1/2 hours). They look very sharp and dressy on the car and serve their purpose. There are two areas needing improvement. To function better they could be a bit wider. Also, the mounting brackets are too far apart and the step flexes when stepped on.
