"I read reviews from other nerf bars and these seemed to have the overall best reviews. I got the bars in a couple of days and with the help of my neighbor, had them installed in less that thirty minutes. Six bolts for the brackets and six bolts for the bars and you are finished. The fit was perfect and the ease of installation was as advertised. I really like the looks. They have added value for my truck." —Bill T from Lubbock, TX bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.
"Bolts supplied do not work on the New body. Fortunately the old bolts do. Instructions are worthless" —Patrick M from Sierra Vista, AZ bought a Westin 3" E Series Nerf Bars for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.
"These bars installed in less than 30 minutes, fit perfectly and look great. I used an inpact gun for both removing and re-intsalling the bolts from the bed frame and re-used original bolts. They work fine. It was refreshing to be able to do a true "bolt On" install and have it actually do just that, Bolt on and wipe off your finger prints." —John D from Liberty Twp, OH bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 1500, extended cab.
"They were an excellent choice for a good price. They were also good quality. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. Also customer service was good. I received my package in less than three days after shipment." —Lloyd S from Barnesville, GA bought a Smittybilt Sure-Step Nerf Bars for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, Extended cab .
"I bought the rhino 2 because they looked the best, and the nfab had reviews that you couldnt fit your toes in the step, making you have to use the side of your foot. These dont have that problem at all. Installation was a minor pain, only because my truck's front pinch weld holes had a nut in it, it was supposed to be empty. I bought 2 new bolts and problem solved. No drilling, installed alone. Paint the bolts on the outside or else you can see the reflection of them off the paint. I did this before hand. Seem strong so far and ive made sure to bounce on them. my wife can now get in my truck without having to jump. glad she let me buy them..." —Brendan P from Dover, DE bought a Go Rhino Dominator II Cab-Length Nerf Bars for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.

"The bar wrapppings and the front supports were missmarked for which side but was easy to figure out. Was happy with how it looked and how easy to install." —Lee B from Colorado Springs, CO bought a Smittybilt Sure-Step Nerf Bars for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
"As you've already heard from many, the directions have alot to be desired. Mainly because they are "generic" for multiple vehicles. Example would be, that I ordered for my 2008 Silverado & received paperwork that ended with the 06.
This set up confusion, which resulted in a call to your customer help line to verify year-make etc.
Most people are reasonably smart, but the "body bolt" removal for install could be explained a little better.
Also recommend to watch for clearance around the square stock in relationship to the "round" metal cup area where the body bolt is centered. I experienced alot of "metal to metal" noice for the first day or two. Other than that, I am happy with product, your help line and all concerned.
I have already recommended to others, based on the money saved by having someone else purchase & install.
