"For the price, you can't go wrong. Sturdy construction, fairly easy install. Can handle a 300lb individual with no problem." —Derek P from Warwick, RI bought a Smittybilt Sure-Step Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado.
"These nerf bars are very good quality. We liked that the brackets were powder coated. The parts fit together well. Fit is excellent and the appearance it excellent. The only negative thing we can say is that the enclosed instructions were not very good. Even though the instructions weren't very helpful, it wasn't very hard to figure out how to install the bars. We would definitely recommend these nerf bars to anyone." —Steven B from Ottawa, KS bought a Westin 3" E Series Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Regular cab.
"Ordered the Nerf bars after multiple days of research. Found the Steelcraft Nerf Bars to be an excellent bang for your buck. They arrived very quickly and looked great. Installation was easy, just make sure you have a extender arm for your socket...makes life a lot easier. The look great on the truck, hopefully for years to come." —Andrew D from Augusta, ME bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Extended cab.
"easy install , good looks, but squeaks very bad. I think I found out why. The bars bolt on to the cab frame using same bolts, I think they need to be moved back a little because they are rubbing on frame." —Dwayne S from Slidell, LA bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.
"Best price I could find on the web and in town. Happy with the product and installation was easy as well." —Jeffrey M from Jacksonville, NC bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, 1500, extended cab.
"The Bars were a breeze to install. The only problem was the instructions, they didn"t explain how tight to make the connections. These are the second pair I have installed (in different trucks). The bolts did not match the bocy mounts so I reused the Original mounting bouts. They were both the same length." —Albert S from Dayton, OH bought an Aries 3" Round Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, 1500, extended cab.
"WOW!!! Ordered on Thursday arrived on Friday! Had installed in less than an hour. Would recommend to anyone wanting do it yourself Nerf Bars. Thank You !!!" —Jonathan T from Des Moines, IA bought a Westin 3" E Series Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Extended cab.
"These bars are excellent in apperance and quality. I have recommended them to family and friends." —Marlene A from San Diego, CA bought a Go Rhino 3" 4000 Series Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.
"I'm not a mechanic by any means but I did have the tools necessary to install them. The biggest problem was how much strength was needed in order to remove and then reinstall the manufacturer's bolts. I would recommend to anyone with a previous shoulder injury (like me) to buy/rent/borrow a pneumatic drill before attempting this install. Doing this by hand took me just over 4 hours. The nerf bars and mounting brackets were spot-on for alignment. There was no drilling required. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to add some style to their truck." —Todd M from Redford, MI bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.
"The Westin Signature Series Step Bars look great on my truck. My wife also likes how they look and make it easier to get into the cab. Installation was very easy. All pieces were clearly marked. The hardest part was trying to find out how tight (ft-lb) the body mount bolts needed to be tightened." —Peter S from Franklin, WI bought a Westin 3" Signature Series Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado.
"Best price in town for this neft bar. I purchased the black coated nerf bar. It is solid built. However, I wish I purchaed the 4" stainless steel instead so that it would look much sharper. However, I do not want to spend over $350 on a nerf bar so I can step into my truck. Otherwise, the quality and craftmanship is excellent. I am hoping that it will not rust within the next 3 years that it is under manufacturer warranty." —Michael T from San Diego, CA bought a Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Regular cab.
