"Outstanding product! Installation is straightforward and simple. The Lund 5" oval nerf barfs look great on the vehicle and are highly functional. The 5" width makes it much easier to enter and exit the truck. Additionally, you can easily reach the roof of the truck. As manly as it is to use 6' stepladder to wash your truck, it is much more convenient to use these bars. Not to mention, the black & chrome combination compliments the stock front and rear bumpers perfectly." —Brian L from Dearborn, MI bought a Lund 5" Oval Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Extended cab.
"I am very pleased with the Westin Platinum Oval Step Bars. Installation was relatively easy and they look great!" —Joy P from Victoria, TX bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.
"I received the step bars incredibly fast and they look great on my 2010 Silverado 3500 Crew Cab. The only downside was that the installation instructions were poorly written, but it wasn't too hard to figure out for even a person like me who isn't a gear head. I was able to install them in about an hour with the help of a neighbor's impact driver." —Robert M from Wheaton, IL bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.
"These step bars look good and are easy to install. They really improve the look of my truck. Like anything else - they are hard to keep clean during a Wisconsin winter. Other than that, I would recomend these over chrome step bars for the value.
Mike" —Michael K from Appleton, WI bought a Westin 4" Platinum Oval Step Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Extended cab.
"The nerf bars look great. They were relatively east to install. Only complaint is the moaning and groaning coming from the truck now. I am hoping that re-torquing the bolts to factory specs will solve the problem. My truck sounds about 20 years old v. 2 years old! Outside of that, I am very pleased with the bars." —Edward B from Mount Pleasant, SC bought a Steelcraft 4" Premium Oval Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Extended cab.
"Got the black, good price and quality. Took about 45 minutes to put them on. Has 3 supports, both ends and one in the center so they are solid." —Jon A from Booneville, AR bought a Steelcraft 4" Premium Oval Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.
"The pictures of the parts could be better but can't complain how the finished product looks. For those who are short easy getting in and put of the truck." —Robert J S from Philadelphia, PA bought a Steelcraft 4" Premium Oval Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab.
"They were easy to install and look great. The fact that they are aluminum will keep them looking great for a long time too.
I would recommened these for anyone looking for a great look, practical use and value." —Carl G from Charlotte, MI bought a Lund StepRails Elliptical Aluminum Side Steps with Mounting Bracket for a 2010 Chevy Silverado.
"I love these step bars! They are an excellent product. If I have one complaint it's that the flat washers for the center support brackets are too small as they will go through the hole in the bracket when you tighten them. Other than that, super quality." —Adam J from Suffolk, VA bought a Steelcraft 4" Premium Oval Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Extended cab.
"These bars look good and are very functional however the installation instructions are terrible you would be better off if they just said no instructions you figure it out.
Larry in Mississippi" —Larry C from Steens, MS bought an Aries 4" Oval Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado.
"Ordered these for my 2010 Silverado rather than get them through the dealer and saved a bunch in the process. The most difficult part of the installation was locating a 13/16 socket for the GM factory bolts. Once I did, the installation for the front and middle brackets went smoothly. The rear bracket required me to go back through my toolbox and look for a long enough socket extender as you will need one about 10 inches long to be able to tighten them. I had to connect three short extenders to have sufficient length. Pay attention to the instructions that tell you be sure not to let the brackets touch the chassis. If they touch, you will have a squeaky ride. I thought I had enough clearance but I must have not paid enough attention to the drivers side and had to readjust the front and middle brackets. Install was complete in 20 minutes. Lots of compliments." —Kenneth H from Marenisco, MI bought a Steelcraft 4" Premium Oval Nerf Bars for a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Extended cab.
